Back to the past:part 1 Akutagawa day 1 part:8

Atsushi's POV:

4:32pm

I woke up to here small foot steps outside my door I knew it was not Akutagawa's because his was a louder than these so I I got up as slowly and quietly as possible trying not disturb whatever was out there knowing I had to proceed with caution and not underestimate anything even if it does not seem harmful

I opened my door and peaked out when I did I did not see anything so I began to walk prepared to activate my ability at any time when I reached the end of the hall way I saw a child black hair ragged clothes and empty black eyes the child stared at me with a scared look

I sighed and knelt down a good length away from the kid "hey what's your name" I asked thing to start a conversation to calm them down they just stared  almost menacingly "um ok it ok I understand uh" I started to panic "What if Akutagawa saw the kid I mean there is a good chance he won't care but still he does have messed up ways of taking care of children..." Thinking this made me worry more though Akutagawa's room door was still closed so he's likley  sleep or still upset of what happened the other day

Then I finally remembered the kid which was still staring emptily at me "oh um sorry!" The kid nodded "well um this is awkward you must be cold with just those clothes I understand if you don't want to tell me your name but I insist that I at least find some comfy clothes for you so you can wash up the kid stared and sighed

" Ryūnosuke"

"What what..." "That's my name Ryūnosuke Akutagawa" I panicked "Akutagawa's a kid could this be the ability of the person that took us!" I thought intensely until I snapped out of it "Well than Akutagawa let's see if we can find out how you got here then we can worry about clothes since I think I have an idea of what might of happened " I said trying to be calm "Ok" he said dully I walked in the living room to see a suitcase "just as a thought" I said under my breath

I opened it it was clothing toys and food with a not that read:

Hello again I have turned Akutagawa into a kid with my ability I can turn people into kids or babies it random to be honest but don't worry he will change back the main purpose of this is so you guys can get closer you can't be here forever you know

I sighed well there is obviously more to this ability but I won't stress it for now "well it seems you might be here for a while..." "It's ok it's better here than outside in the cold" it was quite for a bit I felt bad no kid should have to go through homelessness or stress but you know what I'll give child Akutagawa the best day or days ever even if he does not remember in the end

"Alright Akutagawa I have decided!" Akutagawa's face looked confused "you are going to have the best time ever together until it's time for you to go I'll make sure of it!" Atsushi looked at Akutagawa's face it was still dull but he could tell he was happy he made a deal with himself to make sure to but light to his dull eyes and make sure he has a true childhood

"Go ahead pick out some clothes you wanna wear get comfy Akutagawa knelt down to the bag looked at Atsushi as if he were scared if he followed through with it he would be punished but with Atsushi's warm welcome face and attitude he could tell he was sincere and he was not like all the other selfish and monstrous people taking from others for their own fun

He excitedly look through the bag looking at different clothes and putting them to the side he was so overwhelmed with happiness he didn't know what to do with himself "...So how old are you Akutagawa?..." "10 my birthday was not that far from today " "oh really maybe we can figure out something to do for your birthday"  "here this one" Akutagawa picked out a blue and yellow monster outfit it was a shirt with a blue and yellow furry monster in the middle with blue pants and furry socks "wow that actually looks pretty cool alright let's get to the bath" Atsushi got soap lotion a rag shampoo and a towel 

When they got to the bathroom Atsushi placed everything down "you know how to work the tub right?" "Yeah" Akutagawa said putting his clothes down "Ok good let me know when your done washing up so I can help wash your hair" "ok mr..." "ahh! I forgot to tell you my name I'm sorry my name is Atsushi" "Well ok Atsushi" "I'll find you a toothbrush while I wait ok? If you need me just call" Atsushi said with slight Anxiety not knowing what he is doing is right or wrong yeah right he has Kyouka but she already really raised her self so I don't really know what I should do next or if I'm doing right at all"

Atsushi went back in the suitcase to look for a toothbrush for Akutagawa until he Finally found one and he found some kids toothpaste he put it to the side and started putting away the extra food and snacks that was in there then finally Akugawa called Atsushi that he's done washing up "Ok coming" Atsushi yelled back

*After Atsushi washed Akutagawa's hair and got him ready *

So what do you want to do I have to cook dinner "Can I watch a movie I always wanted to see one!" " Of course let's check what movies are on They checked for a bit till they saw one that was interesting "How about this one" " yeah this one seems good" "Alright then I'll make dinner so we can watch it together" "ok!" Atsushi started the movie and cooked some food when he was done he took out some cookies and ice cream so they can eat they can eat it after Atsushi handed the food the the boy who was eagerly watching the movie he looked down at the food "wow this is for me...I haven't eaten this well in years" "yup and after I have a surprise" as he tried to keep up a smile hearing him talk of his past saddened him to know that a child had to go through suffering at such a long age

"Wow ok!" Akutagawa began to eat as Atsushi sat beside him smiling and watching the movie

"Whaslohkftjmarktgofjgueajjfht" Akutagawa said with a full mouth

"What finish chewing first you don't want to choke and anyway I can't understand you..." Atsushi said in a calm but nervous voice

A bit after Aku was done chewing he said "Are you going to eat too"

"Oh um me uh yeah I'm going to eat sorry I just forgot" Atsushi said in a nervous awkward voice "Shoot I forgot I haven't eaten since yesterday night" he thought as he made himself a plate of food as soon as he made it he sat back down and ate with Aku until he was done "well hopefully your not full yet I have some cookies and ice cream we can make ice cream cookies!" "Wow really!" "Yup" Atsushi Bent down with a small thumbs up Aku grabbed his hand and dragged him to the kitchen they made some homemade cookies then after put some ice cream and whipped cream with Atsushi knew this was a bit over board but  all he wanted anyway is to see is Akutagawa being happy After that they both fell asleep on the couch snuggled up
