Atsushi pov:

I walked to the door staring as Akutagawa's black car speeds off I put my hood over my head and began walking into the agency it was still kind of early work hours so i knew someone was going to be there but I didn't know what to say...I mean I can't just be like I got kidnapped then casually walked here

I sighed while I walked to the 4th floor where the agency was placed preparing for the chaos I didn't know what to do with myself it's been months is everything still the same

Do they still care about me...?

I stood outside the brown wooden door with the golden plate with black words reading "detective agency" and reached for the handle I lowered my head feeling guilt for leaving them as I opened the door I felt eyes appear on me

"Um hello sir I think your at the wrong place" A red head said looking up from his desk I looked up not saying anything I wanted to but I didn't know what to say

The red heads eyes widened "Atsushi" he said quietly that nobody barley heard him "what Tanazaki " a blond haired person asked "Atsushi is that you" he walked slowly toward me I sighed taking off my head looking away I don't know why I felt guilty but that is what I felt

"Your alive!-" he seemed panicked and happy as everyone stood up shocked well except Dazai because he wasn't there and Ranpo considering  he most likely knew I was ok  "I mean I thought you were dead!Ranpo told us you were ok but I was still worried...everyone tried to contact you but you wouldn't answer-" I smiled "well I'm ok"

Yasano walked up too me can you come to the clinic so I can check you I know you have healing but it is always important to check somebody after they was kidnapped especially for this long" "um I-I don't think that's necessary" "well a mini check up won't hurt all I need to do is check your body" just to be sure you was not poisoned or hurt you never know one of these days your healing ability can stop working I know it's very unlikely but there are always some down falls with ability's and I just want to ensure your safety..."

I sighed "alright thank you for your concern" I followed her into the clinic "So Atsushi how did you get away" I paused not knowing what so say as I sat on the medical bed "well uh um...I found a secret room and snuck out for some reason there motive was to see if I can find a way out" I took me longer due to the security they had"

she walked up to me "ok then we can maybe look into this later for right now let's get this done...can you take off your sweater and roll up your pants Atsushi I hesitated but did what she said she looked kind of concerned "Where did these bruises come from as she looked at my wrist neck and upper thigh "well um..."I looked away so she won't see my red face

"What did they do to you Atsushi"  I looked back "well uh I got in a fight with one of the people there but I beat them..." "that doesn't explain your legs..." "um I don't know" she sighed "wether you know or not I feel it best to leave it be..." she finished checking me and stood up after checking my leg "well it seems your fine except the bruises so you can go I guess..."

Everything felt awkward as I pulled down my pant legs and put back on my sweater "thank you Dr.Yasano" I bowed "no problem Atsushi just remember if your almost dying call me I can heal you right up!"I smiled"o-ok"I walked out to see Dazai laying on his desk Kunikida typing away and everyone being chaotic I didn't see Kyouka-Chan though maybe she's busy...I hope

Dazai looked up and rushed up to me "Atsushi Kun you had me worried!" He put his hand on his forehead jokingly "ahhhh it was so lonely without you" he fluffed my hair with a smile "Kunikida has been so mean lately and I had to even do some of my work ahhhh what a nightmare~" I laughed happy to finally see him

I geared to door open to see Kyouka her eyes brightened has she ran up to me hugging me "I missed you" I turned toward her hugging her back happy to see she was ok " I missed you too"Dazai walked away not wanting to disturb

After then everything was normal minus thousands of questions and the fact Kyouka was given a apartment a few apartments next to mine which she has been living in for a while now"

After work I headed home to see my stuff neatly packed inside my apartment near the door with a note a chocolates I smiled I sat at my couch tired after a long day and hours of unpacking then grabbed my phone then texted Akutagawa

"I'm home Aku"

Good how was work

Good how about you

Good as well Fortunately the boss understood and I did not get in trouble
Any way I hope you have a goodnight darling I'll text you in the morning
