Back to the past part 1 part2.5:Akutagawa part9

Hello just wanted to say I'm making a second story if you like angsty stories feel free to check it out it's called "it was nice while it lasted ...right" anyway enjoy❤️

I woke up early about 5:00 in the morning to start setting up a birthday for Akutagawa I put him in my room and cracked the door just in case though I did not have real balloons I did find paper pens colored pencils and string I made little paper balloons and cut a hole in it connected string to hang it from the ceiling then I did the same but with letters spelling Happy Birthday

Luckily the person gave me a few things to work with so I set up different activities to do through out the day like drawing a mini kids pool uno and other kids board games was not much but it was something if I was out of here I would have done more after doing that I thought of how I could make gifts for him yeah I know not all birthday parties have to have gifts but for a kid that went through alot it's the least I can do

When I was in the orphanage the greatest thing I did is when I found clay and tried to mold it and I would get mud and draw a face on it doing this took days mostly for sculpting but I guess that's what made it so interesting when the headmaster found out I was severely punished for doing so and was never allowed to even get close to clay he burned all the figures I made in front of me

So when I saw a bunch of clay in a mini storage place I had not looked in before I happily grabbed it and began making little figures and when it hardened I painted over it let it dry I ended up making 12 mini people and even made mini houses they were not furnished and was a very small space but it worked I set it up in a green box because it looked like grass and hid it until it was time for him to see it

By the time I was done it was 9:04am so I began making breakfast which was Toast with whipped cream and fruit a cheese omelette and grilled fish with orange juice after I went to wake Akutagawa up I went up to him and shook him lightly "come on sleepyhead it's time to get up we have alot ahead of us today!" Akutagawa got up rubbing his eyes "good come on you don't want breakfast to be cold" I walked out giving him space to wake up I turned on a kids tv show he could watch it with his breakfast Akutagawa walked out of the room stretching from his demeanor I could tell he felt free and comfortable "come on come sit down and eat" when he realized the decorations his face lit up as he sat down next to me happily eating his food "Happy belated birthday today we will do all that yo want...as long as it's possible and not dangerous

I looked at him and he almost had a sad face "do you think I'm a monster..." he said looking down "of course I don't why..." "well everyone thinks I'm a monster because my ability Rashomon... I bet you think I am now..." "no I still don't and I have a ability too!" "Really?" "Yup I can turn into a tiger really not as cool as yours... but anyway your ability is amazing and strong you aren't any monster" he smiled then started eating his food "thank you" "ah d-don't cry I'm sorry...!"

After then we played for the whole day surprisingly Akutagawa is great with board games and drawing I even let him take a ride on my back in my tiger form around the house which he seemed to like

5:20pm I made Aku's favorite MEAT BUNS! We ate it and made some sugar cookies which were very good we tried to make a cake but I baked it wrong then lastly I got out his present while Aku was picking up some of the toys on the floor "Akutagawa come here I have a surprise for you!" Akutagawa rushed into the living room to see the mini toy set I made "its not much but I tried it's ok if you don't like it I won't be mad" I smiled at him then he started crying "eh ehh I-I'm sorry it's ok we can do something else ah-" Akugawa hugged me still crying "thank you this birthday is the best!" "Oh-oh I glad you like it it's nothing really all kids are supposed to have a happy life and I'm just fulfilling it"He smiled for the rest of the few hours we played together

Until it was time for bed "it might be the last day today..." I said "well if it is I hope we meet in the future when I'm older" "It's ok we will" I did not want to tell him he was in the future because I know it could be a little overwhelming "how about this "one activity we are going to build a big fort around the couch and we can sleep there together

So we built it and afterwards looked at the mini fort that seemed big for Aku but small to Atsushi making him feel bad because he promised it to be big "wow this is perfect..." Akutagawa said crawling inside his star pajamas he had on glowed in the dark and even before I can say anything else he fell asleep on the couch wrapped in blankets holding my hand I smiled and fell asleep right next to him

"Gosh I hope Akutagawa won't kill me when he wakes up ....what am I kidding of course he is...ugh it's worth it I guess"
