It's been a few months since there relationship

Atsushi's pov:

It's been a few months and I've still been struggling to tell anybody the only people who knows is Ranpo,Dazai-San,Kyouka and the president which took it way better than I thought he just told me to be sure of my decision while Ranpo already knew along with Dazai-San and I felt like I had to tell Kyouka she was kind of upset but she respected my decision and just wanted him to in her words "treat me right or else he would have to die"I laughed at it at first but I then noticed she was serious

I began to get ready for work as normal Aku texted me his normal good morning text I replied back with a smile as I rushed to work I felt like something was going to happen but I couldn't tell if it was good or bad but I shook it off so I won't ruin my already decent day

I walked in the agency to everything being the same Kyouka rushed to her desk to continue some simple paperwork she was given while I sat down at my desk

I began my work then was met to someone hugging me "Atsushi~" Dazai whined "do my work it's to hard~" I sighed why can't you do your own work I do it every day give me a break" I whined back Dazai laid on my desk "ahhh how disappointing" he walked away dramatically

A few hours later

I heard the door open and everyone except Ranpo and Dazai got up "what do you want Akutagawa..." Kunikida stood ready to attack

"Relax he's not here to start something" Ranpo said chewing on some gummy bear Aku just stood there

He walked towards my desk taking a breath it looks like he was going to panic or something "Aku what's going on?" I asked quietly and confused

He looks like he was holding something a chocolate box? I didn't know all I knew is everyone was quiet and confused

He got down on his knee then and took out a ring "Atsushi Nakajima..." his voice was shaking my eyes widened when I finally noticed what he was doing I stood up my eyes started to water "will you marry me?" He looked up confused of why I was crying "Are you ok?" He stood up I pulled him into a hug "Of course I would!" He hugged me back

"WHAT IS GOING ON!" Kunikida yelled "wow that's something" Dazai said mockingly "you was in a relationship Atsushi?" Yasano said shocked Junichiro was just shock "congrats Atsushi-kun" Namoi said hugging her brother "I already knew..." Ranpo said tossing aside some gummy bears while Kyouka just seemed to stare at Aku like she was ready to attack

"You didn't tell them?" "Well I was planning to but I never got to it..." everyone was still shocked while Aku put a pretty golden ring on my finger "well we'll be going now" "what-" I said before I was swept off my feet he gave me a long kiss before picking me up bridal style and walking off "bye Atsushi-Kuni~" Dazai said with a smirk on his face

He put me in the passenger seat next to his then got in his car then started to drive somewhere

Did I just get kidnapped by my own fiancé I thought sitting by him "where are we going"I asked "ice cream shop then we can chill at my house until the party" "WHA-PARTY!" He nodded I smiled "ok then.." we sat quietly as I stared at the sky turning a weird pink

Aku got out the car then opened the door for me as I got out and held my hand as we walked to the ice cream shop he turned to me "what type of ice cream do you want?" I thought for a bit "mint chocolate chip" I said with a smile he turned back to the person that worked there " mint chocolate chip and cookie dough triple ice cream cones please" he handed the money then waited for a bit before receiving the two ice cream cones

He handed one to me "thank you" I said kissing him on the cheek he smiled back before grabbing my hand "there is a park nearby" he said grabbing my hand we walked watching the sun set then eventually sat on a bench near a water fountain and talked for a while before eventually walking back to head to Aku's place

There we watched a movie for about 2 hour before having to get ready for this "party"

After that Aku gave be a nice black suit with a while tie while Aku matched with a black suit and a black tie I came out of the bathroom to show Aku he wrapped his arms around me making me smile I kissed his lips " you look good darling" he said pulling me closer "you do too" I said with a smile

"Let's go we don't want to be late"he said letting go of me and guiding me to the car he opened the door as I got in then closed it before getting in and driving to this "party" "when we get there don't panic ok?" I nodded not knowing what he meant

We arrived to a big fancy looking building he opened and closed the car door for me then held my hand while we were met by two guards at the front Aku showed them something then they let us through there I saw the mafia boss Aku walked to him he bowed to him "hello boss I brought Jinko my now fiancé" "well welcome Mr.Nakajima I hope you enjoy it here I can ensure you,you are perfectly safe here" he gave a smile I bowed "thank you sir" "now you can go ahead now and enjoy yourselves" he shooed us away

The whole time there we drunk a little while dancing a bit eventually it was time for dinner and everyone sat down at the table the whole port mafia was there I felt kind of nervous as I held Aku's hand under the table there was a few announcements

Before Aku stood up "I have a announcement to make!" He said standing up and taking a breath he grabbed my hand and stood up I felt my heart pounding out of my chest but then I looked at Aku's gentle face as he looked back "This is my Fiancé Atsushi Nakajima I proposed to him just today"

Everything was weird and quiet I saw Higuchi leave and Gin mouthing something with two thumbs up "congrats Aku" I heard Chuuya say I saw everyone agree Koyō shook her head in agreement "Ah kids grow up so fast" she said batting her eyes with a napkin some guy with orange hair looked surprised Tachaihara I think Aku called him "well congrats on the proposal" he said we sat down

"Thank you" Aku said "well let's get eating I wanna finish my wine" Chuuya-San said randomly causing everyone to laugh we began to eat after I decided to walk around by myself I eventually found myself near the balcony to see Higuchi on a couch by herself crying although she was part of the mafia and she tried to hurt the agency and me I couldn't forget the one good time I spent with her

I couldn't let her cry like this

I sat beside her quietly not know what to do or say "go away!" She pushed me slightly "I'm sorry" I said she looked at me "I was such a fool for thinking he would like me" she sobbed "I'm sure you will find someone else that would be happy to be with you..." She looked down I gave her a tissue "thank you...you better make him happy" he said before wiping her face then going off

I sighed then went to the balcony to see Chuuya-San he sighed "She really was something it took her this long to finally realize..." "I can't say your wrong I said nervously in response "you want some?" Chuuya showed me a alcohol bottle "no thank you I'm not a drinker..."I said waving my hands frantically "alright then more for me"he said before drinking some" "You know...Akutagawa liked you before your whole predicament..." "you knew....?" I said surprised "Dazai told me..." "oh..."I said "well ima be going I need more wine" he said walking off "ok goodbye Chuuya-San" I said waving

I sighed now alone on the balcony I watched the night sky for it seemed a long time before I felt someone wrap there arms around me I knew exactly who it was "hi Aku"I said kissing his lips "I heard you were up here so I came to you..." it was quiet as we watched the beautiful night sky

"The sky is beautiful tonight" I said leaning onto Aku I smiled Aku turned me to look at him his eyes seemed to be shining before pulling me into a kiss under the beautiful moonlight
