Ch. 1 Starting School

Aubrey's POV:
Tuesday, September 5th 1983. I begin to get ready for the first day of school. My older brother Sev is downstairs making breakfast. I get my clothes together and put on a good outfit for the day.

Of course, being a muggle born, I owned a phone. My friend Sally was a muggle and had no idea I went to Hogwarts. I told her I went to some school in LA. After finishing my makeup and morning routine, I hear Sev call me for breakfast. I walk down to see a plate of pancakes and fruit with whipped cream on top. "Ahh you know me so well." I say popping a strawberry into my mouth. Sev laughs. "Yeah?
Well eat it quick or we'll miss the train." We finish eating and he drives us to Kings Cross Station. We go to station 9 and 10 and make sure no one's looking before heading in between the wall. When I saw the express memories from my previous years flooded back to me. It felt so good to be back. I say goodbye to Sev, as he's a prefect and sits with others, and head out to find my own compartment. Then I see one with all of my friends so of course I sit there. There was Blaise, Draco, Pansy, Enzo, and Theo. Wait where is he. Could it really be? He's not here. LETS G-.
But then I see him walk into our compartment
and watch as he sees my face and smirks. Mattheo Riddle. Unfortunately, the only open seat was next to me. So I forced Pansy to seat there instead of Mattheo. I stared at him from across my seat. He stared back just smirking. God how I hated him. I roll my eyes and look away and out the window for the rest of the ride. Once we got off I ran to see the school. It was so pretty I just had to take a picture.

I decided not to send that one to Sally. We walked in and I remembered everything. It felt to nice to be here again. The sorting began and I went to sit at my house table, Slytherin. I sat in between Pansy and Theo. But I had to deal with Mattheo across me. After the sorting, food appeared on our plates and I remembered having breakfast this morning. "Damn it Sev!" I say looking at my brother. "My apologies Aubrey." He said and continued to talk to his friends. God I'm so full but that looks so good.
"What is it?" Pansy nudged me. "Nothing just... not hungry." She stared. "Suit yourself." And she began to eat. One person who didn't stop staring at me was Mattheo. I look at him. "What do you want?" He blinked. "Calm down, love just wondering why your not eating." "1st of all, DONT call me that, 2nd what do you care?" He shook his head. "Nothing Nothing nevermind." "That's what I thought."

Mattheo's POV:

Stupid Bitch. Why can't she just talk? Not like I care anyway. After we finished eating I began to walk upstairs to the dorms but all my friends ran and left. I thought I was alone before I saw Aubrey ammerging from the hall. I smirked and walked over. "Hello love," I said looking her up and down. "Where are you headed?" She ignored me. Ohh so that's how we're gonna be? "Come on, answer...I don't bite." She rolled her eyes. I grab her shoulders and jump in front of her. She's startled. Good. "See love, I don't bite." I whisper the last three words. "Don't call me that." She says throwing my hands off of her. I fake gasp. "She speaks!"
She stared at me before walking away. Of course, I follow. She turns around and gets up close. Being 5'10 I stared down at her. "Listen Riddle, I'm headed to the girls dormitories and if you follow I swear to god I'll fuck you up." I laugh. "Your 5'6 ass couldn't touch me." She stared. "Fine I'll tell Dumbledore." My smirk fades away. "You wouldn't dare." "Oh yes I would." She says with cold eyes. "Yeah but you could never be a snitch to your friends." She laughs. "Ohhh your right except, I'm not your friend." And with that, she walked away making me look like an idiot. So I walked back to the boys dormitories and catch up with them. "Where were you at?" Blaise asks. "I got caught with that stupid ass." Enzo looks at me. "I'm assuming you mean Aubrey." "Of course I am." I respond. Enzo sits next to me. "I don't know why you hate her. She's really nice." I begin to answer with 100 reasons why but someone interrupts me. " He doesn't hate her." It was Theo. " He's hiding the fact that he likes her." "Shut the fuck up. You don't know what your talking about." Theo laughs. "Oh but I do, you love her so much and she hates you so... you hate her for it." I shake my head and get up. "Fuck you all." I say walking to my bed. I hear them all laugh before I close my eyes. Tomorrow I won't think. At all. About them, school, or Aubrey. Right now it's just sleep.
