Ch. 6 The Match

Aubrey's POV:

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my GOD. Why is Mattheos hand on my leg. Why are his lips to my ear. Why is he smirking. Why am I nervous. I stand up. "I'm gonna head out I'll see you tomorrow." Then I run for the door and go straight to my bed. What the actual fuck.

The next morning I told Pansy all about it. "Um like what the fuck." she said. " I know i'm so fucking confused." She looks at me. "Girl I think he likes you." My breath was caught in my chest. "What." "You heard me," She said. "He's totally in love." I shook my head. "No No and No he only does that shit cause he knows I hate it." Right? "Whatever Aubrey get ready." I'm extra confused now. "Get ready for what?" "The quidditch match!" Oh right! I totally forgot about that. I remember Theo reminding me in Hogsmeade about it. "Understood ma'am." And I went straight to getting ready. I fished out green colors because I'm on Slytherin. Once I finished getting ready we went to the great hall.We both got coffee and it was delicious. We went outside. Then I forced pansy to take a picture of me.

We walked to the slytherin stands. Immediately I saw a Theo and Mattheo in their gear. I nudged Pansy and pointed because she as looking for them too. We sat next to Enzo and Blaise. Then the match started. It was Ravenclaw vs Slytherin. Tell me who do you think is gonna win.

Ravenclaw starts with it and that bitch Cho Chang has the quaffed and is headed towards the rings. But then Mattheo came and stole it from her. We woo'ed and screamed and yelled and laughed. Pansy tapped my shoulder. "You think i'd be good at quidditch?" I turn towards her. "You want me to be honest with you?" She thought about it. "No." "Okay then yes you would be." We laughed. Suddenly the score was Ravenclaws winning 2 v. 0. "Oh shit." I say. "What is it." Pansy asked. "Look at the score." I pointed. " Oh shit." She said. It had been 25 minutes and Ravenclaw had 3 points and we had 2. Come on guys. We can do this. 5 more minutes passed and now we're tied. Mattheo and Theo are the only ones trying. Mattheo has gotten two points and Theo got one.

There is now 1 minute left of the game. Ravenclaw has the ball and is headed towards the rings. Theo knocks them away. Mattheo grabbed the hall and swooped over them. I check the time, 20 seconds left. He goes back to get momentum, 15 seconds. He dodges 3 people, 10 seconds. He passes it to Theo, 5 seconds. Theo throws it and suddenly everything feels like slow motion. Everyone was at the tip of their seats for what's gonna happen. Ravenclaws dive to get the ball but miss. And.... it goes through the rings! All slytherins were screaming with joy and jumping up and down. We Won! Me and Pansy were holding hands and squealing. Finally it ended so we could go and celebrate with the team. We all run down. I sprint and go give a Theo a hug. He laughs as we all celebrate him and Mattheo. "Hey guys!" I hear someone scream. "Party in the Common room!" The place erupts with cheers. I can't wait for tonight.

I decide to go all out tonight for my outfit. I put it on and I'm in love.

I head out and Pansy sees me. She gaped and bit her lip. "What?" I ask. "Nothing let's just say the boys will be drooling over you tonight." I roll my eyes and we walk down. But she was right. As soon as I got down there I had Theo, Draco, Blaise, and Enzo staring at me. Even Mattheo looked me up and down. He cleared his throat and looked away. "Holy shit, Aubrey." I smirked. "Wooooo! Let's get this party started!" Cheers came from everyone. We were all dancing and drinking when I got a notif on my phone. I checked it and it was from Sally.

Me: At a party

The rest of the night went pretty well until I got major deja vu. Theo brought our whole friend group into an empty room. We all sat in a circle. And there was a bottle in the middle. Theo smirks. "I think you know what this is."

Pansy went first because she's the life of the party. It landed on Draco. She walked up to him and kissed. Now this wasn't a seventh grade peck. It was a kiss. Then she walked back next to me. Of course that meant it was my turn. I take a deep breath and spin.

Mattheos POV:

I watch as Aubrey goes up and spins the bottle. What is this feeling in my stomach? Is it dread that I might have to kiss her or is it dread that she might kiss someone else? Finally the bottle stops. It lands on Theo. My heart drops and I don't know why. Theo smirks and walks towards her. He bends down and kisses her, one hand on her neck and one on her waist. They were kissing. Oh hell. They're still kissing. This is going for too long now. I can't watch this. I got up and left. All eyes on me I walk away with a large sting of jealousy.
