Ch. 3 Hogsmeade Hell

Mattheo's POV:

I smirk as I see her getting nervous. She opens her eyes and looks around repeatingly. After a moment of fixing her breath she says, "No." I lean back, still being able to hear her pounding heart. Im not gonna push her. Not in front of everyone. Shit. Everyone is here. Everyone saw that. And EVERYONE is gonna think some stuff they shouldn't be thinking. I take my hand off Aubrey's thigh and almost immediately after she gets up. " I have um extra.... homework. Bye!" And with that she speeds off with Pansy down her trail. Once they're both gone Theo laughs and puts a hand n my shoulder. "What the hell dude." He shakes me slightly before getting up as well. "I'm gonna head up, don't want professors getting mad am I right?" I stare off into space. "Yeah, yeah sure." And I follow.

The next morning I wake up at four am. I don't know how but I did. I carefully get up without waking up the others. I checked the date. September 7th 1983. I was also out and onto the courtyard to see someone sitting in my favorite spot. I walk closer to see its Aubrey. I roll my eyes and walk closer. "Get up." Clearly I startled her because she jumped. When she saw it was me she too rolled her eyes and looked down. "No." I hate her so much. "Come on its just a seat why does it matter." "Exactly, it doesn't matter so I can have it." I put my head down. I trapped myself for that one. I have an idea. "If you don't get up I'll touch your leg again." Hit a soft spot. She looked up panicking. But then she stood up. "What the actual fuck is wrong with you!" Now i'm the startled one. She's screaming words and looking all over the place when I hear footsteps. Teachers footsteps. "That's fucking weird shit I can be a snitch on you for that!" I nod trying to get her to be quiet. "Yeah ok ok just shut the fuck up!" Instead she keeps in rambling. I'm not going to get detention in the first week. So unfortunately, I end up grabbing her by the waist and putting my hand over her mouth. She kicking and screaming but I'm holding on. I can't get in trouble. Then she finally heard the teachers too and stayed still.  Finally they were gone so I let go of her. She stood across from me awkwardly and looked around. "So, uh thanks i guess." She says while shifting her feet. "Yeah." I said. "Yeah." She clears her throat. "We'll im gonna go see ya later." She says but I hear her mumble something under her breath. "Hopefully never." I turn. "Hey I heard that!" She flips me off while walking away. What a bitch.

Aubrey's POV:

I walk away from him. That bitch. Only because he wanted a place specific place to sit down in. Anyways, the time passes quickly as I spend it in the library. I read an entire book. I am very proud of myself. After that it's time for Great hall so I walk in alone. I end up sitting next to Pansy and Blaise. Mattheo across from me yet again. I either stared at him or tried to avoid all eye contact. And breakfast was better than me and Pansy's friendship.

Blaise invited me too go to Hogsmeade with them this after noon. Of course I said yes. I got ready and put on sweats. I had Pansy take a pic with me.

We head out and when we see the boys the do a fake bite lip and go, "Damnnnn y'all looking like a snack." I shove their faces. "Shut up."
We begin walking and we saw so many pretty animals like toads, grindylows, and a lot more.

Finally we made it. Of course we all head for Three Broomsticks immediately. We ordered 7 buttterbeers when we got sat down. Once we got them I dove. I drank like never before and melted. Literally, I fell off my chair. Everyone was laughing but I was enjoying the butter beer. "I forgot how good this is!" I state. "I know right!" Enzo agrees. Theo tapped me on the shoulder. "What's up." I say. "Hey there's a quidditch match coming up and I want you to be there." Why didn't I hear about this sooner? "Oh ok I promise to be there." He smiles. "Great." After drinking and talking and that little thing with Theo, I managed to convince everyone to go to Honeydukes. When I walked in I felt like a little kid again. I began to dance around jumping from spot to spot. I looked at the chocolates, sours, cotton candy, lollipops, jellybeans, and fruity ones. I looked over to see Mattheo staring at me smirking though. I gave him a face that said what? And he looked away.
I ended up buying 2 chocolate frogs, 1 licorice wand, 5 chocolate cauldrons, and 3 pumpkin pasties. It was great, until one of the workers told us to leave because they were closing. "But it's only 3pm?" She shook her head. "I know sorry dear." And with that she closed the door in my face. I felt mischievous so I put Alohamora on the door and put an invisibility charm on me and went up to the room the workers were in. I walk in mid conversation.
"-you mean she's dead?" I close my mouth to muffle the fear. That's also when I hear the crash downstairs. I turn around and run. I get down there in time to see someone so obviously stealing. Not wanting to be caught I go back outside and undo the charm. My friend group sees me and goes, "What happened?" All I answered with was, "Let's go home."
