one moment you were sleeping peacefully and then the next you hit a cold hard floor. You yell in pain and turn over now facing the ceiling, and realize what building you're in

"Miguel if I turn around and see your ugly fecking mug I will murder you." You sit up and move your hair out of your face only to see Jess and not Miguel "Oh hi Jess what's up"

Jess only ever calls on you when 100% necessary but Miguel calls you for more frivolous things like fixing your machine, that anyone can do he just wants you to do it.

"Miguel wants you...I'm sorry" She gives you a sympathetic look but you roll your eyes all the same "Right, I'm here might as well says fuck you to his face"

You walk off to his lab with Jess, Peter, and some kid following behind you "Alright what do you want now ya needy fecker" You announce as he's brooding up in his weird elevator thing. He doesn't reply and instead, his platform slowly descends

"If you're gonna be an asshole and pull me out my universe at least be quick about it" You cross your arms now even more annoyed than usual with his bullshit

"I've called you here to ask you to reconsider leaving us." Miguel finally speaks

"Are you serious? Do you really think that waking me up at 5 fucking am is the way to ask me to join back? and also it's barely like I left anyways cause you keep pulling me back whenever you want"

"I know you don't like your reality, we can provide everything you need."

"Fuck off, I've made it clear I want nothing to do with this spider bullshit, why can't you just let me go" Why can't he just comprehend that maybe some people don't want anything to do with his shit

"y/n you are one of our best, your talent can do a lot of good" Miguel approaches you trying to be sincere and you realize he won't let you go without doing what he asks

"go on" you pretend to act intrigued and Miguel smiles he turns around before explaining whatever bullshit mission he wants your help with

"right, well can I have my suit then" he nods and some random spider person gives it to you before you tie your hair up and put your mask on

"You're making the right choice, silk spider suits you."

You turn around and set your eyes on the eccentric looking lad that's standing next to Peter

"Hey you're new, nice to meet ya mate" You walk up to him and shake his hand, you think he doesn't realize you're using the handshake to nick his watch but...

"You can have it, don't need to pretend" he whispers and you notice his accent. You smile at him and while Miguel has his back turned you open a portal to the first dimension that popped up on the watch.

"You know what Miguel you're right, silk spider does suit me I'm just a wee bit outta practice you know?" You smirk as you walk backward toward the portal "y/n what are you doing"

"hey mate appreciate your help, later Peter!" you give a nod and fall backward into the portal

Miguel tried to run to stop you but he's too late. "who gave her the watch," he asks annoyed as he turns around and stares daggers at the three suspects. Peter and Jess immediately rat out Hobie by pointing at him but he just shrugs "I wasn't using it" and just walks off.
