She didn't leave her room until they needed to leave, she wasn't ready to face Ian after the thoughts of him she had the night before.
She put her hot pink string bikini on that day with one thought in mind. Ian's eyes. It wasn't that she didn't feel wrong, she did. She felt dirty when she looked at herself in the mirror, cleavage spilling out of her top. Hips on display and ass pooling out of her bottoms. Displaying the rest of her hidden tattoos. Two butterflies on her right butt cheek, a small heart beside her hip bone and an under-boob tattoo that caressed the cup of each of her boobs with flowers fine lines, and a snake. She felt wrong, but instead of changing she put a sundress over the swimsuit and left.
Ian greeted her on her way out, wearing swim trunks and a tight black shirt. Her stomach did a flip at the sight of his chest pooling against the fabric. She wondered if it would always be this way around him from now on. If things would ever return to just hating each other.
"Ready?"
"Mhm."
For the first time they walked together down the stairs and through the front door instead of in a line.
In order to get to their spot at the creek, you had to park on the side of the road and walk through the woods. This was their spot, hidden away from anyone else. Ian was the first person outside of them that had ever been here. There was no trail, there were no markers. They found this place and got here purely based off of memory.
It wasn't some perfect beautiful spot, but it was secluded, with a little slice of sand budding up against the clear water, just enough to have lunch and tan. A fallen tree served as their marker that this was the spot, the spot, with their names carved inside of it for 10 years it was the only marker they left here.
Rina wasn't there when they arrived, and it wasn't like her to run late so Quinn called her worried.
"Hey, omg I'm so sorry."
"What's wrong Rina?"
"A cat got out of the café, and I had to come in to do damage control. I'll be there in an hour I promise."
Quinn looked over to Ian who was leaning on the fallen tree.
"Okay."
"Play nice with Ian Quinn."
"Yeah yeah."
She had no idea just how nice she wanted to play with Ian.
"See you soon." And she hung up the phone.
"Cat got out at the café; she's going to be late." Quinn said shyly, waving her phone.
Ian nodded his head and moved his hair back from his face, he was already sweating, and she could feel herself beginning too as well. The crystal-clear water was practically calling out to her, and she wished she'd worn something that covered more. It was different knowing Rina would be here, but without her here it felt even more wrong to get undressed.
Ian didn't share the same sentiment as he tore off his shirt, exposing his broad chest and muscular body to Quinn. The tattoos across his chest were kissed with hair that ran down his muscular torso like a landing strip. He wasn't overly hairy in a way she wished he'd shaved. He was hairy in a way that affected her.
It was wrong for him to be so beautiful.
"Done staring?" he was being cocky, but she could too. Her body was not something she was insecure about.
She walked closer to the shore so that she was one step away from the water and she lifted the sundress over her head, throwing it back at him. She could feel Ian's eyes raking over her backside. Taking in her ass, her legs, the small of her back. Then she turned to face him, so that he could get a better look.
