"Tanning already?"

"Huh?" Quinn craned her head over her shoulder at Rina, who was already wearing her swimsuit. Carrying a large bag in her hand.

"Oh, hey." Rina furrowed her brows and looked to the water where Ian was floating far away on his back.

"You two get into it?"

"Yea." Rina stepped beside Quinn and sat down, studying her face. Quinn tried her best to avoid her eyes and began digging into Rina's bag. Looking for a snack.

"OH MY GOD- "

"Shhhh!" Quinn interrupted her, attempting to quiet her down and Rina's voice lowered.

"You slut. Oh my god." She said with a laugh.

"I know, I know." Quinn covered her face and rested her arms on her knees.

"I want to know everything."

So, Quinn told her everything, not even leaving out the lie she'd told her about Tanner. It felt good to tell her the whole of it, to not leave things hidden from her any longer. But it also stressed her out, confiding in her of something she lied about. She would not breathe until Rina told her it was ok.

"Please don't be mad at me." Quinn begged.

"Over what?"

"I lied about Tanner."

"Honey, I already knew." She waved her hand in the air like it'd be common knowledge the entire time.

"And you didn't say anything?"

Rina shrugged and plopped a grape in her mouth.

"I knew you were tired of the conversation, so I let it go. There was no way Tanner was mind blowing like you said." She laughed, putting another grape in her mouth.

"But that." She pointed to Ian in the water.

"That I believe."

"Rina what the hell am I going to do? I messed up bad."

"Leave Tanner, get with Ian. Easy."

Quinn shook her head. "It's not that simple, things with Ian aren't.... emotional they're just..."

"Sexual." Rina finished for her.

"Yea." She covered her face again.

"Rina, I hate him so much I don't get it."

"Clearly your kinky babe, it's not a big deal." she said with a shrug.

"Clearly," she sighed. "You didn't hear the stuff he was saying to me." Her cheeks flushed at the memory.

"Yea, you've mentioned it enough for me to get the idea though." She laughed.

"I need to get a new guard, or maybe just run away."

"Don't trust yourself with him?"

"I don't. It was so much easier when we just hated each other."

"Now you want to hate fuck each other." She laughed again.

"I'm glad you find this funny." Quinn rolled her eyes.

"You'll figure it out, and I want every update as you do." She stood to her feet and extended her arm.

"Come on, you're hot. Flaunt that, look unphased and make him work for it."

Quinn gave her a weak smile and took her hand. She didn't think Ian was a man who begged, nor one who chase. But she didn't want that, she didn't want him. She wanted to be free of him and the purely sexual pull she felt for him.
