When Quinn made it down the steps, she wished she had bothered with the coverup. When she made it to the boat it wouldn't be an issue, there would be countless people half dressed and plenty women flaunting their bodies. But here in the entrance to her house she fought to keep her bag in front of her as their eyes scanned her body.
There were 5 men inside this room alone, watching every step she made with smiles on their faces and horrible thoughts in their minds.
Ian caught their looks too, so much so that the anger he felt earlier held nothing compared to rage moving inside of him now. He could shoot them all and still not feel satisfied. They had no right to stare at her like she was some sort of object. They had no right to the thoughts crossing their minds about her.
He grabbed ahold of her arm and stopped her walking. The look she cut him was desperate, it was embarrassing and so far from the confidence she had inside her bedroom. That look was enough for him. He stepped in front of her and pulled the gun from his waist.
He looked each of the men in their eyes, testing them to try him.
"IF YOU'RE SMART YOU WON'T EVER LOOK AT FORKS DAUGHTER AGAIN." He was overreacting, he knew that as he pointed his loaded pistol to each of the men who's smiles tightened, and their posture shifted.
"Ian, calm down." One of the men held up his hands to him.
"FUCK NO, you're all eye fucking the woman I was assigned to protect. Right now, you look like a threat." He pointed the gun at the man that told him to calm down.
"And I'm sure Forks would feel the same way. Look at her again and I will not hesitate to paint these walls with the thoughts inside your head."
The man stiffened and looked away from both of them completely. Ian turned to face each of the men who had been staring at her, all wise enough to not look at either of them.
"Keep it that way." He gritted and stepped aside so that Quinn could continue walking.
All the way to the door he watched them, all the way to the door he waited to pull the trigger on anyone of the predators.
When Quinn opened the door he waited on the threshold, just to be sure they had received the message, before tucking his gun back inside his holster.
Quinn said nothing as she got into the car, her heart raced in a dangerous way. The same way it did when she let him touch her. Her whole body felt tight at the display he'd just made.
Ian got into the car with an angry groan, removing the pistol from his holster, unloading it, and putting it inside the center console. He cranked the car and pulled out of the driveway with Quinn's eyes on him.
He could feel her stare cutting into him, he could feel her watching him. She was probably terrified after he waved his gun around in there like some idiot. He probably would have been fired for it, had any one of them had the balls to tell Forks why he acted that way. But he knew they wouldn't because worse things would happen to them.
"Quinn, I'm sorry." He looked over to her as she removed her seatbelt.
"I don't want to talk Ian."
He furrowed his brows, trying his best to watch her and the road, worried she may try and jump out of a moving car. But she didn't. She moved closer, pulling his right arm from the steering wheel so that she could get closer to him.
"Quinn what are you doing?"
"Shh." She held a finger to her lips before moving them to his waist. His eyes widened as her hands worked, to free him from his trunks.
