A Mikaelson Father's Day - A Klayley Story

Chapter 3

 They were on the road, Hayley driving, Hope in the passenger seat when Hayley quickly pulled over. She parked the car and ran into the nearest shop next to her. Hope followed concern she asked “Mom, what’s wrong?”

Hayley didn’t respond she just kept going til she made it to the restroom, where she vomited in the toilet. Hope watched then came over to her mom, “Mom, are you okay?” Hope asked her mom. Hayley nodded, then flushed the toilet.

“I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me I just felt nauseous,” Hayley explained as she washed her hands at the sink. “It’s fine,” Hope said more relaxed. “Hold on,” Hayley said, walking back into a restroom stall. She closed the door then there was silence for a minute until she yelled.

“SHIT!”

Hayley exited the stall and Hope just looked at her mom confused. Hayley knew Hope was waiting on an explanation, “Come on,” Hayley said walking out of the restroom and out of the building.

She then went to the building over which was a pharmacy, walking to the very back. “Mom, what are we doing in the back of a pharmacy?” Hope asked, she was getting super confused. Hayley grabbed two pregnancy tests from the shelf, then showed Hope.

“You think you’re pregnant?” Hope asked, she was shocked but considering she knew her parents were having sex it wasn't much of a surprise. Hayley nodded and then went to the self check out, she quickly paid and then left the store.

They got back into the car and drove to the compound in utter silence. Once they got there, Hayley grabbed her things and went straight upstairs. “Hey, Hayles…” Rebekah started but noticed that Hayley was rushing. Everyone in the courtyard of the compound looked at each other trying to figure out what was happening.

Hope soon entered the compound struggling to carry her things in, Marcel got up from sitting next to Rebekah and went over to help his sister/niece. Hope got her stuff upstairs with Marcel’s help, then came back downstairs.

“So Hope, why was your mom in such a rush to get upstairs?” Kol asked Davina nudged him and he smirked. “I’m not sure,” Hope said, everyone could tell she was lying. Kol was just about to dig deeper when Freya spoke up. “Well changing topics, what do you y’all want to do?” Everyone looked around until Hope spoke up.

“Aunt Freya do you think you, Aunt Davina, and Uncle Vincent could help me with a spell?” she asked. “Of course, anything for my niece,” Davina said getting up. “Keelin, could you watch Nik and Ellie?” Vincent asked his wife, since he and his other wife would be doing a spell he asked Keelin to watch over their kids. Keelin agreed to watch the kids so Freya, Vincent, and Davina all left along with Hope to the spell room.

She put her things onto her bed, then quickly went to her ensuite. Grabbing the pregnancy tests out of the boxes, she followed the instructions on the box and waited five minutes. In that five minutes, she went back into her bedroom and sat on the bed thinking about what if she did have another baby.

She thought about Hope with a sibling and smiled but that quickly fell because what if Hope didn’t want any siblings, then she thought of Klaus’ reaction and remembered the first time he found out she was pregnant. ‘Kill her and the baby’ was his exact words, the same words that broke her.

She didn’t understand him then and she didn’t want to, she had made it her life mission at that moment to protect Hope and hate Klaus. That life mission failed because she loves Klaus and having a mini him wouldn’t be so bad, she still hoped for a girl just for her and the girls to go shopping in the baby girl section.

She was deep in thought when a knock was at her door, she went to open it and there stood Gia. “Hey Hayley, are you okay? You rushed in and I just wanted to know if you were okay?” She asked Hayley. Hayley smiled and invited her into her room, “I’m fine just a little scared,” Hayley replied, she and Gia had a great bond and she was thinking of telling Gia about her and Klaus’ relationship.

“Why, what’s wrong?” Gia was concerned for her friend, she hated when Hayley was off. It made the whole family off and it wasn’t a good time.

“Me and Klaus have had a secret relationship for a while now, 7 months to be exact,” Gia looked stunned at the news for a second and then smiled. “Oh thank god, I thought I was just hallucinating you walking out of his room in the mornings naked,” Gia said, laughing.

“Why does everyone find out that way?” Hayley asked laughing, “Oh that’s not how I found out that’s how I got my proof. Me and Elijah found out by seeing you two having a makeout section on the couch about a week ago,” Gia explained. Hayley laughed and then remembered that Gia had mentioned Elijah.

"Wait, Elijah knows?” Hayley asked. “Yeah, he had a feeling something was going on between his brother and you, and we wanted to see for ourselves,” Gia explained. Both girls stayed laughing until they got interrupted by the timer Hayley had set.

Hayley was soon pulled back to reality and her facial expression changed, Gia knew something was bothering her. “What’s up?” Gia asked her. “I’ll explain later, I just need some time alone,” Hayley said, Gia nodded and then exited the room.

Hayley then went to her ensuite, she flipped the four tests over. Lifting one to her eyes to make sure she was looking correctly, she dropped it in shock.

She was going to have another baby, she was happy but lots of other emotions rushed in with the happiness. She got interrupted by Klaus’ voice on the other side of the door, she quickly took the test and put them under the cabinets.

Then she went to open the door, “Hey,” she said, he could sense her nervousness. He just smiled and pulled her into a kiss, knowing everyone that was in the courtyard had seen them.

“Bloody hell!” Kol yelled, Rebekah didn't seem shocked nor did Keelin. Gia and Elijah both seemed calm but also shocked. “Are you two together?” Marcel asked, yelling up at them.

Klaus broke the kiss and then looked over the railing, Hayley came up beside him and leaned on the railing looking at everyone. “What does it look like?” Klaus said in a joking matter. The whole baby matter left Hayley’s mind and she focused on what else she was getting Klaus for Father’s Day.

Later that day, she was thinking of ideas and looking at her laptop when it came to her mind; how to tie everything in one, get him a gift and tell him she was pregnant.

She would take him to dinner and then tell him she’s pregnant.

Hoping that it would go well she looked up the number to the restaurant and called. Making reservations for Father’s Day.
