-  Day before Father’s Day

Hayley needed to tell someone about the pregnancy, she hadn’t told Klaus yet, or anyone for that matter. She thought about telling Hope and Rebekah but then thought about how everyone would find out from their screams.

She then concluded to tell someone calmer about this topic, She decided on Freya and Gia; they would be much calmer about the news. Considering the whole family knew about her and Klaus she thought it would be easier to just tell them all at once, but after she told Klaus which was tomorrow.

She had been neglecting him for the past couple of days, she knew that if she did pay attention to him it would come rushing out and she couldn’t risk ruining their relationship. She opened her room door to Klaus about to knock, she knew this wasn’t going to be good. She needed an excuse to get away and she needed one fast.

“Hey, Hayley I was thinking we could talk,” Klaus started. Hayley had a gut feeling this was bad so she tried her best to think of a way to get away.

“Hey, I don’t have time right now so maybe some other time-” She tried but he just cut her off. “Whatever you have planned can wait, I need to talk to you about something,” He said walking into her room, she was nervous about what he could say.

“Hayley, did I do something wrong? I feel like you’re neglecting me and I’m not one to come and express my feelings unless I care, so what’s going on?” He asked her, she stood frozen.

She didn’t want this to be a bump in their relationship they had just told everyone that they were together. She didn’t know what to say but she didn’t want him to believe that it was his fault which it wasn’t she just didn’t want to expose the pregnancy. “No, you did nothing wrong. I’m sorry for neglecting you, I can tell you want to talk to me and I just try to find excuses to get away,” Hayley said nervously looking down at the floor, she didn’t want to look into those beautiful deep blue orbs of his.

“Something's off with you though, you haven’t talked to anyone lately,” He started but Hayley cut him off.

“I know, It will all be explained tomorrow I promise. I don’t even know why I’m acting this way and I’m sorry about that,” She finally looked up, those blue orbs met her eyes and she started to get lost in them. Klaus stepped closer to her, his hand creasing her cheek. “Hayley, whatever it is that’s bothering you, you can tell me,” He placed a kiss on her forehead and then smiled before exiting the room.

Hayley was in love with him, whether he would hate her because of the baby she would still be in love with him and she fell deeper by the second. Thinking of the baby she left her room and walked through the corridor.

She then came to Freya’s room which she shared with Keelin and Vincent and knocked on the door. Keelin opened the door and smiled, happy to see Hayley out of her room since she hadn’t been out all the time. “Hi Hayles, what can I do for you?” Keelin asked, she was clearly in a rush. “Is Freya here?” Hayley asked, knowing this was probably a bad time since she was pretty sure that something was happening on the other side of the door. “No, she is with Hope in the spell room,” Keelin said, Hayley nodded and said bye before going to the spell room.

Once she entered she saw Hope and Freya, they were with Davina although Vincent was missing. Instead, some guy was sitting in the middle of a circle, he was looking at Hope and smiling. “Freya, can I borrow you?” Hayley asked, Freya turned her head and nodded smiling. She left Davina with the two and followed Hayley out of the room.

“Is everything okay?” Freya asked Hayley, she just kept walking in silence. “We need to get Gia, then I can explain,” Hayley said, approaching the door of Elijah and Gia’s bedroom. Freya knocked and Gia answered the door, “What’s up?” she asked, she didn’t seem too busy so Hayley continued. “Can I borrow you for a second?” Gia stepped outside of the room, closing the door behind her. “Sure,” Gia answered, Hayley gestured her head towards her room.

Once everyone was inside she closed the door and then went to her ensuite, running the water so no one could hear this conversation. “I’m assuming this is serious since you want to block other people out from hearing this?” Freya suggested and Hayley nodded.

“Did Klaus break your heart?” Gia asked, when Hayley didn’t respond this made her continue. “So help me, I will make him wish he wasn’t immortal.”

Hayley finally spoke up, “He didn’t break my heart, I love him and I’m pretty positive that he loves me too. It’s just I think he might not like the news I’m telling him tomorrow,” Hayley looked down at the floor, waiting for a response.

“What news?” Freya asked. “Glad you asked, that’s why you’re here. I wanted to tell you first since you are the calmest of the whole family…” Hayley took a deep breath before she continued.

“I’m pregnant.”

Both Freya and Gia were shocked but yelled out which made Hayley a lot better. “What do you want to do with it?” Freya asked Hayley.

“I want to keep it, Hope would have a sibling but I’m worried about Klaus. What if this breaks our relationship apart,” Hayley replied looking up to see Gia and Freya.

“Then keep it, it doesn’t matter what he wants. After all, it’s your body and he is the one to put the baby there so now he needs to man up and take responsibility,” Gia said, her words had encouraged Hayley.

She knew that when she told Klaus about the baby, there was nothing to worry about because he loved her, and if it changed his mind about the relationship he was still going to have to be the daddy either way. “Thanks. I plan on telling him tomorrow, wish me luck,” Hayley said smiling at the two girls.

They got up from the bed and hugged her, tears forming in her eyes but this time they weren’t from stress they were from happiness.

-  With Klaus

He saw his sister and Gia exit Hayley’s room and thought this would be a good time to do something with Hayley. She has been off lately and he wants to cheer her up, also he wants her to know that their relationship means something to him. More than just sex and making out all the time, he went downstairs into the kitchen, surprisingly it was empty.

he grabbed a bowl from the cabinet for the popcorn, luckily there was a pack laying around so he put it into the microwave. Once it was done Klaus poured it into the bowl and grabbed some drinks, two blood bags, and some of Hayley’s favorite candies.

Returning to his room, he put the things down and turned on the tv, Klaus found one of Hayley’s all-time favorite movies “Grease.” Once finding this he left his room, walk through the corridor, and made his way to Hayley’s room.

He knocked and then entered her room not waiting for her response, she was sitting on her bed with something in her hands. Once she saw the door open she vamped into the ensuite. “Hayley, are you okay?” He asked her, he was so confused. Was she hiding something she didn’t want him to see, he pushed it aside thinking maybe it was a gift for Father’s Day.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” she said coming out of the bathroom. Klaus took no time to even care about what she was hiding he wanted her to open up when she was ready, and at this moment he was ready to go watch a movie with the woman he loved.

He took her into his arms and carried her out of her room bridal style, “Klaus, what are you doing?” she said looking at him. He smirked and kept walking, she wrapped her arms around his neck and let him take her to wherever he was taking her.

Klaus threw her onto the bed next to the snacks. He turned the lights off and got into bed next to her, she had gotten under the duvet and so did he. Klaus started the movie and wrapped his arm around Hayley’s shoulder, leaning her into him.

By the end of the movie, they were both asleep, Hayley’s head leaning onto his shoulder, his head rested on hers and his arm stayed around her shoulder with her arm around his torso.
