Part Twenty ✨

We sat back in our seats again and continued watching our movie. I kind of felt uncomfortable so I just closed my eyes for a little bit. I had been very stressed for the past weeks and it made me lose sleep regularly.

After two hours Charles woke me up to tell me we've landed. I honestly didn't even feel the landing which was probably a good thing, also for Charles.

We made our way to the hotel and got checked in at the reception. The receptionist was too busy flirting with Charles to even notice my presence.

"I'm sorry Sir, but we only have one room available" I overheard the receptionist saying to Charles

"That won't be a problem at all, thanks" He took the card to our room and made his way over to me. He rolled his eyes at me because of his encounter before.

We were staying at the seventh floor so we took the elevator. The bellboy was already gone with our suitcases so we didn't have to worry about that.

Charles let me swipe the card across the lock of the door and it revealed a beautiful suite. There was a huge bed with a view all over the city. It even had a huge kitchen and living room.

Our suitcases were delivered outside of our hotel room and we unpacked some clothes. I was unpacking my toiletry bags when Charles broke the silence.

"Baby, can I take you out tonight?" He asked out of nowhere.

"Ofcourse! Where do you wanna go?" I looked at him for a moment and I could see he got kinda nervous.

"That's a surprise. I mean, we have our day off so it would be perfect. Just be ready by 6.30 PM, is that suitable?" He is really caring for me nowadays.

"Yes ofcourse! But what should I wear?"

"Whatever you want, mon amour. You look perfect no matter what you wear."

WHEN I TELL YOU I BLUSHED LIKE A FOOOLLLL.

"I love you" I walked closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled him in for a short kiss but he tried to deepen the kiss right away.

"Not now you sex addict!" I laughed at him and pushed him away playfully. He did the same and continued unpacking his things.

After a while I called Isa to ask if she wanted to hang out today.

"Heyy, haven't spoken to you in a while!" Isa said when she picked up the phone.

"Hey babe! Do you want to catch up today? I missed youuu"

"Yes ofcourse! Maybe we can go eat something at the beach?" Isa proposed.

"Sounds like a great idea! I'll be at your room in an hour" And with that I hung up the phone.

"So, I have to tell you a couple of things that you don't know yet" I told Isa.

We sat down at a cute cafe were it wasn't really busy. Later today I would go out with Charles, but I wanted to catch up with Isa first.

"Go on babe!" Isa reassured me

"So, you've really grown to my good friend and I don't want to keep this from you anymore"

I could see Isa's look on her face turned in something frightening. She probably feared for the worst.

"Shan, you're scaring me!"

"I have a four year old son.."

Isa's mouth dropped to the floor and I could've sworn she didn't say something what felt for like an hour.
