Seducing My Sister's Bestfriend

1. The Wedding

Alexa can't help but imagine that the beautiful girl walking down the aisle was once a little girl giggling with her in the past. She never thought that time would pass this quickly. She can't seem to control the tears from falling down as she sees before her eyes her best friend welcoming her new life with the man she loves.

She also dreamed of being in this situation. She also wanted to get married to the man she love. But she know better. The dream of getting married to Gale is just an empty dream. 

Gale. 

They've been in a long distance relationship for three years. And for those years, she felt nothing but sadness and broken promises. And she wanted to be freed from this kind of relationship. She knows that if she continue to have this fruitless commitment, it will make her hate herself and hate Gale. And she doesn't want that to happen. Gale was a good man. But she needed someone. She needed someone real not just an online conversation or virtual love she's been receiving for years. 

She was starting to get lost in her thoughts when suddenly, she felt the intense gaze of someone.  Even before the ceremony started, she ignored the familiar man who has been looking at her that is now standing at the opposite aisle. When Alexa caught his eyes, the man smiled and continue to look at her. His smile is so familiar, but Alexa can't seem to remember him.

Is he a friend of Monica? One of her classmates in med school? She continue to rummage in her memory. But still not a clue about who the man is. So she just smiled back, trying to be polite. The man gave a cute and silent chuckle as if amused by her perplexed look. 

Then, as if turning on her memory switch, she suddenly remembered the cute little brother of Monica, Luchio. 

Alexa unconsciously opened her mouth in shock as she remembers the face. He chucked again as if getting the message that Alexa was finally able to figured out who he was. She can't seem to believe it. The sweet little Luchio is now a fine handsome gentleman!

After Monica's parents have broken up, Luchio was sent to the state with his Mother, while Monica was left here in the Philippines with her Dad. When her father died, Luchio and her mother never came to the funeral. Everything was too painful for Monica at that time, that she decided to forget about them.

Alexa knew that no one from Monica's mother side will be coming today. That is why, she was surprised to see her brother right now. Seeing a part of that past, there was something inside Alexa that made her happy. At least, Luchio is here to see his older sister marry. She can't help but smile with the thought.

The celebration continued and again, Alexa felt the loneliness and emptiness grew inside her as she heard the sweet vows of the couple to each other. She also wanted to have that same romantic vow with the one she love. But her situation tells her that she won't be having that soon.

After the ceremony, Alexa found herself standing with the rest of the single ladies. Actually, she wanted to exclude herself from the tossing of the bouquet, she doesn't want to be reminded that she won't be getting her dream wedding soon.

However, Monica insisted and now, she was giving Alexa an I'm-throwing-this-to-you-and-you-better-catch-this look. Alexa tried to hide her embarrassed face. And as if with luck, Alexa was suddenly holding the bouquet.
