Chapter 47: The Final Blow

Silver is seen holding Kelpbeard at bay

Silver:  Give up Kelpbeard, your reign of tyranny on these seas are over. Gooper Blooper will fall tonight.

Kelpbeard: I, will never yield. Not until I see the life leave your eyes myself! And the mighty Gooper Blooper shall never fall! Nev...

suddenly the sky goes dark. Kelpbeard and Silver look up to see Gooper Blooper falling towards them

Kelpbeard: What the...!?

Kelpbeard and Silver dive out of the way as Gooper Blooper crashes into Kelpbeard's ship, wrecking it in the process. Silver gets his bearing together and sees that Sushie is there

Silver: S-Sushie! Are you ok?

Sushie: Bit winded, but I'm alright. Just wanted to bring ol' Gooper Blooper a bit closer to you guys.

Silver: But, how did you...

Sushie: It's his nose Silver. That's his weakness.

Silver gets a good look at Gooper Blooper's nose and comes to a realization

Silver: I have a plan. Sushie, swim around the wreckage and get his tentacles stuck. Once that's done, grab his nose and pull. I'm gonna get to high ground, and chop his nose right off.

Sushie: I like it. Good luck. 

Sushie swims up to Gooper Blooper

Sushie: Hey! Big guy! Come and get me!

Sushie begins swimming through the wreckage as Gooper Blooper flairs his tentacles at her, not realizing he's getting them stuck in the process. Meanwhile, Silver begins to climb to the top of the mast to get height, but Kelpbeard reappears to stop him

Kelpbeard: Just where do you think you're going!? Get back here and fight me!

just then, Goompatrick comes flying in and knocks Kelpbeard back into the water

Silver: Huh!?

Goompatrick: Don't you worry about that mister. I'll keep him away from you. I'm more capable then I look.

Silver: I have no doubts you'll fail.

Goompatrick fends off Kelpbeard as Silver continues to climb higher. In the background, Koopa Kent and Buster help out Sushie's crewmates by getting Silver's ship up and running again to get them back towards the action

Gooly: Guys, just, thank you so much for coming to our aid.

Koopa Kent: What can I say, you should never leave a debt unpaid. Especially after what you folks did for us back then.

Buster: It's the least we can do. Now, let's get this ship sailing back towards the fray!

All: Yeah!

back at the main fight, Sushie successfully traps Gooper Blooper's tentacles and grabs hold of his nose and pulls. Gooper Blooper tries desperately to escape, but to no avail. Silver, now atop the highest point, looks down at Gooper Blooper and readies himself to finish the fight. He leaps off the mast with his sword in fin, and with one fell swoop, cuts the nose off of Gooper Blooper. Gooper Blooper reals in pain sending his tentacles flying like mad and tries to grab the two of them, before, all goes quiet. The life slowly begins to drain from his eyes, his tentacles hit the surface of the water with a big thud, and then, his body begins to sink into the depths of the sea. The menace that started this entire war between the Bloopers and Cheep Cheeps, was finally dead. All thanks to Silver, Sushie, and all their friends by their side

Sushie: We, we did it. He's dead.

Silver: ... It's, it's over.

Kelpbeard: staring out as he sees the final bits of Gooper Blooper body sink beneath the sea, finally realizes what it's like to lose. Without saying anything, he hops off the now sunk ship he called his own, and swims away

Goompatrick: sitting on a floating piece of wood I guess it's true what they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Sushie: Hey, thanks for the rescue. We'd have been sunk if it wasn't for you.

Goompatrick: Anytime.

Sushie's crewmates call out to her and Silver as his ship appears before them. The three hop aboard and embrace them all in compassion. The day had been won, and all that remained, was to inform the public of their heroic deed
