He wanted to be there for Stanley. He wanted to see more of his laughs, his smile, and most importantly to feel his love. The Narrator had loved Stanley so much it was hard to contain at this point. It was quite literally spilling out of him, but in the form of flowers.

The flowers which would be the death of him. They still held meaning though. It was a symbol, a symbol of his love towards the younger man. He couldn't help tearing up at the thought.

It finally dawned on him that it was his love that had been killing him this whole time. He looked back down at the monitors that showed the image of Stanley working on his computer.

The Narrator couldn't help himself but smile lovingly at the man through the screen. Even though Stanley was sleeping The Narrator kept his grin. He thought over all of the fun moments they had shared together, and how much he would miss them once he was gone.

He felt his love, and the flowers, bloom in him more and more with each passing second. All of the fun things that the two could do together raced through The Narrator's mind.

If they were in the real world.. only if. They would be able to do so much together. Maybe The Narrator would have a chance of living then.

Stanley's dreams were filled with the man upstairs. He dreamt of the two of them doing some more romantic things together. Thoughts of them holding hands, talking, and even cuddling intruded Stanley's dreams.

It was good intrusion though. This had been what he had wanted. He loved it when he was able to spend time to think about these things, and when he woke up they would all be in his imagination again.

For now though he would be able to live them out through his head. All of these things were truly all that he wanted. If only he wasn't too scared to ask The Narrator, then maybe these dreams could become a reality.

The thing was that it wouldn't just be his dreams becoming a reality though. He would also be saving the man he loves life at the same time. Stanley had no clue up to this point about the deadly disease that The Narrator had, and he might never know.

All he knew was that he was living out the life he wanted with The Narrator through his dreams. That's all that seemed to matter to him as well.

After a while more of The Narrators staring and Stanley's sleeping, he finally awoke. "Good morning, Stanley!" The Narrator abruptly exclaimed. This quickly woke Stanley up, causing him to shoot up in his seat.

"Good morning to you too!" The taller man chuckled while responding. He couldn't help but smile at the camera that on The Narrator's side was connected to the monitors. To the older man it looked as if Stanley was beaming. It caused him to give the same reaction back even though Stanley wasn't able to see it.

"How was your sleep?" The Narrator questioned. He wanted to make sure that his coughing didn't wake the other man up, even if he didn't notice it on camera.

"It was good!" Stanley quickly replied. It was more than just a good sleep, it was a wonderful one. Especially with his amazing dreams.

"Good, good", The Narrator was practically glowing at this point. "Now how about we carry on with the story?" He said. Stanley's head quickly started nodding up and down.

"Mhm! You know how much I love your story, Narry. I wouldn't give up anything for it either", Stanley kept his wide grin at the cameras while speaking. He had truly meant what he said. The parable was his favorite thing, besides The Narrator of course.

God that nickname made The Narrators heart skip a beat. It had made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside, it felt funny. One thing that has always baffled him was how just one word could make someone feel like this.

The rest of it made it even better. It was true that Stanley liked his story. His beloved story was what kept him going even when times had become tough, and the thought that someone else could enjoy it as he did made him feel even better.

"That sounds like a brilliant idea, Stanley. I would love nothing more", The Narrator replied to him.

With that Stanley started to move on with the story again. He passed through the empty office space, walked to the doors, and of course he chose the door on his right. It was always Stanley's favorite option, and The Narrator knew it perfectly well.

He went through the door, but to the older man's surprise he went through the open door on his left. Stanley didn't stop at the elevator at all either. All he did was walk straight through.

The Narrator let out a soft chuckle into his mic which caused Stanley to do the same in return. The two men laughed together as Stanley kept on walking. Moments like this meant the world to both of the boys, even if they were too scared to admit it.

When the two of them had little moments together each of them could feel their hearts warming up. This time wasn't any different.

Stanley of course had a mischievous intention when walking through the open door on his left and walked straight into the broom closet. The Narrator couldn't help himself from straying off of the original dialog.

"Oh my Stanley what am I ever going to do with you", The Narrator snickered. Stanley couldn't help but smile back proudly into the camera which was in the room.

"I can't make it too easy for you all the time! You have to have more of a challenge every once in awhile!" Stanley quickly responded. The Narrator beamed back down at him as he looked through the monitor. This was one of those times that he had truly felt happy. The Narrator felt happy with Stanley.
