I didn't go to school for the rest of the week, obviously still upset about the incident.
Honestly, if it was up to me, I wouldn't attend school next week either. But I figured my friends would probably wonder where I've been, considering the fact that I haven't talked to any of them in the past few days. However, the inner "nerd" in me cared too much about my grades and attendance to skip any further and I couldn't just give those three idiots the satisfaction of having the upper hand - no thank you.
So on Monday morning I woke up and decided to finally go back to school. I put my goddess braids into a high ponytail with a little swoop to the side and did my edges. Deciding on wearing a long sleeve fitted jacket in white, with some dark blue flare jeans and to top that off some white Nike Air max. Looking at myself in my full body mirror I stared at my reflection for a hot minute and admired myself before realizing that classes start in about 36 minutes.
I quickly sprayed myself with some nice Victorias Secret Perfume and some lipgloss.
Entering the school building I headed towards my first period English class, unknown of what the day would bring for me.
This time I decided to sit at the back, in a corner, where I hoped nobody would notice me because I was not ready for socializing with anyone. Students started walking in as the last minutes passed. When the bell rang, a familiar face made me tense in my seat.
'Seriously.. Marcus?'
I mentally groaned and laid my head down. It was the first time I'd seen one of the three boys since they had locked me in the janitors closet and made me sleep in there. While Marcus seemed like the sweetest out of them, I quickly realized that I was miserably mistaken. He was just like any other annoying boy at this school just like the other two and I couldn't trust him.
Wich was why I was a little taken aback when he sat right next to me. Lifting my head up and giving him a not so nice glare I scooted away.
"I see, you're finally back." Marcus smiled, his ocean like eyes twinkling.
I scoffed but kept my eyes to the front and ignored him completely.
"Oh, come on Haylie. You can't possibly still be mad at us." He continued with a little frown contorting his facial expression.
"There are literally multiple other empty seats in this classroom." I answered him curtly.
"What's the big deal? It was just a little prank." He laughed, he fvcking laughed.
"Just a little prank?" I hissed at him "You locked me into the janitors closet overnight and didn't listen to my pleas."
He was taken aback "Well, I mean.. we figured the janitor would've let you out after a little bit."
