Akira p.o.v
Everyone finally managed to finish their rounds of hero basic training and we were now gathered in an empty room at the training grounds. “Now that you all have the slightest idea of how each of your quirks works, this time will be different.” All Might announced.
“The second task will be Escape Rooms. There are 3 rooms in total, and each will test your skill and intelligence based on teamwork. To open the doors, there will be a special item and you have to destroy it. Everything in the room is indestructible aside from the object. I wish you all the best of luck.” He said, before pushing a button on the wall.
A trap door opened above him, and he jumped out of the room.
The room then transformed itself. The ground in front of us was slowly descending, making us back away. “What kind of training is this?” The black-haired boy questioned.
Once it stopped, the rest of the class noticed how far all of us were from the object that needed to be destroyed.
“What was that for? I mean, the object is right in front of us.” Kirishima said as he pointed to a box at the other end of the room.
“Then let's get over there and get it. I don't want to waste my time.” Bakugo snapped and walked over. He accidentally stepped on a pressure plate, rendering a small sound and activating a wall in front of him. “What the hell?! This bastard!” He said as he tried to blow it up, but no scratches were shown.
“Don't you remember what All Might said. Everything in this room is indestructible.” I reminded him quietly with my usual stoic expression on my face and my hands together in a standing position. He scoffed and stepped out, placing the wall back down.
Uraraka stepped on the pressure plate in front of her, but it didn't seem to go up.
“Nothing happened to this pressure plate though.” She said as I walked over to her, seeing my foot on the plate.
I looked at the plate that Uraraka was standing on, seeing a lightly carved '1' on it. I glanced at the rest of the pressure plates, seeing different numbers. “Shoto, can you step on the pressure plate in front of you?” I said quietly with my usual stoic expression on my face to Shoto who nodded and stood on the plate with another number ‘1’.
I placed my foot on the plate with the number ‘6’ and the walls immediately went up. ‘And this one seems to go up.’ I thought, with my usual stoic expression on her face.
“This is so confusing!” Kaminari cried.
“Does anyone have any small items that I can throw.” I asked quietly with my usual stoic expression on my face. Yaoyorozu created a rock and handed it to me. I muttered a quick thank-you and threw it at the second row, at the plate with the number '2' carved on it. The walls didn't come up.
“Hey, do you think you can grab the rock with your tape.” I asked quietly with my usual stoic expression on my face as Sero nodded and used his tape to grab the rock back and handed it to me.
“Here you go. Sero at your service.” He teased me as I ignored his comment.
I threw the rock onto the third row on the number 3, but this time, activating the walls. I pondered for a moment.
‘When I throw that rock on the third row on number, it activates the walls...’ I thought with my usual stoic expression on my face.
Sero grabbed the rock with his tape and handed it back to me.
I looked around the room and saw the multiplication on the wall. “A multiplication table...?” lida muttered.
“Last time I checked this mac training, not mathematics.” Kirishima said.
