Akira p.o.v.
Bakugo hit the ground and we put Shoto down. He was still out of it, like he was surprised that he used his flames. I doubted anyone but Midoriya and I even noticed. It must have been such a shock for him to use his left side in this way.
“Let's go over the standings from the cavalry battle!” Midnight said once everyone was gathered together.
“In first place is Team Todoroki, second is Team Bakugo, third is Team Shinso, and finally fourth is Team Midoriya!” She added.
I saw Tokoyami was holding a headband with 710 on it.
“I went for a spot he wasn't guarding.” Tokoyami said.
“Tokoyami!” Midoriya said as tears of joy flooded from his eyes.
“These four teams will move on to the next event, the one on one tournament!” Midnight explained.
“Now we will take an hour-long lunch break followed by a recreational activity that everyone can participate in.” She added.
“Hey, I am going to talk to Midoriya. Do you want to come?” Shoto said to me as I looked at him and nodded at him with my usual stoic expression on my face and my hands together in a standing position.
“Midoriya.” Shoto said as Midoriya turned around, seeing Shoto and me.
“Todoroki and Kuran, is everything okay?” Midoriya said.
“We need to talk.” I said quietly yet in a cold and reserved voice sending a shiver down Midoriya's spine with my usual stoic expression on my face and my hands together in a standing position. But nevertheless, he followed us.
3rd Person p.o.v.
"So... you two brought me here... Now what?” Midoriya asked the boy and the girl, but both Shoto and Akira stayed quiet, only giving the poor boy a cold stare.
“We should probably eat soon. The cafeteria's going to be busy.. don't you two think?” He added.
Shoto and Akira didn't answer, making Midoriya gulp in nervousness. ‘They're all cold intimidation, way different from Kacchan…’ He thought.
"I was overwhelmed. And it made me break the promise I made to myself a long time ago." Todoroki replied, causing Midoriya to look at the boy's left arm as Akira looked at Shoto with little worry in her eyes.
It would've given him such an advantage to use his left side... And yet... he didn't.
Shoto looked at his left hand.
“lida and Kaminari, Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami, Uraraka... none of them felt it except for Akira. In that moment, we were the only ones who could sense your true power. It reminded us of something... experiencing All Might's quirk.” Shoto said.
“Oh yeah...? Okay... Is that all.?” Midoriya said.
“What's he saying is the power coming from you feels the same as All Might's.” Mikoto replied quietly, causing Midoriya to stand stiff in his place.
“Midoriya...tell us…” Shoto said.
“....Are you really All Might's secret love child or something?” He added.
Midoriya stood there and stared at the boy and girl blankly.
‘Am l......WHAT?!’ Midoriya thought.
“We've seen it. You've got All Might in your corner helping you out.” Shoto added.
‘Okay. I get why they think that... as insane as it sounds…’ Midoriya thought.
