Hearing the rustling sounds Agastya turns. Unknowingly his lips lift up in a small smile as Amelia forces her eyes open. She again closes it making Agastya chuckle. Guess that part time job is wearing her out.

He walks towards her and sits down on the bed beside her. Amelia rounds her hand around his forearm and she pulls his hand closer to her, cuddling it, pulling Agastya over her. Taken by surprise his lips get bumped with her cheeks. He instantly moves back and Amelia smiles in her sleep.

She flutters her eyes open and her eyes get connected with his black irises.

“Good morning.” She wished with a scratchy voice.

“Morning.” Agastya greets back. He straightens up and Amelia loosens her hold around his hand and yawns. Her eyes catch the tattoo on Agastya's chest and she freezes in her place.

Agastya sees it all, her expressions changing from sheer joy to a complete fear as her eyes become distant.

Agastya instantly cups her cheeks and makes her look at him.

“Forget about it.” He asserts. She must be thinking about what happened yesterday and it's better to forget about it rather than remember it.

Amelia eyes waters up. She shutters out, “Yo…you killed that man. You are…you are a killer.” She slaps his hand away from her cheeks, which shocked Agastya. He didn't expected this from her.

Amelia moved away from him. Her limbs were trembling due to fear. Her eyes showcashing terror.

“You kil…killed that man. There was blood all around….all around him.”

Agastya was freezed in his place due to shock. He did accept her to panic but this, he didn't expect this.

“Amelia….”

“I want to leave.” Amelia declares cutting him off.

Agastya leans towards her to grab her but Amelia moves away and steps down the bed frantically from the other side. The bed in between them. Her feet lose balance and she falls down on the floor.

“Amelia.” Agastya shouts and moves to her at a lightning speed but Amelia instantly moves away from him.

“Don't.”

Agastya halts.

“Please, I….I want to leave.” Amelia cries out. She had thought he kept a gun for safety reasons but he killed a man.

“Okay.” Agastya announces. “You can leave. But first change into something appropriate and I will prepare a car for you.” He moves towards her with caution but she flinches back. He signs. “I will grab you some clothes.” With that he moves towards the door and Amelia instantly moves away from his side. Her eyes were on alert and edge as she watched him leave.

Amelia got on her feet. The saree wrapped around her figure is a mess. She clenched her eyes shut when suddenly the picture of that man polled in his own blood flashes in front of her eyes. Suddenly a scream echoes in her ears. Her eyes snap open. She looks at her front to see her mother blocking Amelia's small body with her, trying to protect her daughter. Amelia looks to the side to see her father laying on the ground in the pool of his blood. She finds herself in a place which she had forgotten.

“Please, take….” Amelia's eyes snaps to her mother's broad back. “whatever you want. Just leave my daughter. Please.”

Amelia grabs the edge of her mother's shrug.

“Mom.” Amelia calls, fearfully. Her mother's hand instantly twists back, around Amelia and she pulls Amelia's small finger close to her back, wanting to make her small daughter feel safe.
