Nora began making her way to the Animal Clinic, then noticed a message from Scott asking for her to make her way to the Stilinski home.

She arrived and walked inside to see Sheriff Stilinski, Stiles and Scott.

Sheriff Stilinski pointed to a small figure. "So this kid's the real killer?"

Stiles nodded. "Yeah."

"No."

"Yes!"

"No."

Stiles let out an annoyed sigh. "Dad, come on. Everybody knows that the police look for ways to connect victims in a murder, okay? So all he had to do is, like, look through their transcripts and figure out which they all had in common."

"Yeah, except for the rave promoter Kara wasn't in Harris' class."

Stiles let out a sigh. "All right, okay, you're right, sorry. Then I guess they dropped the charges against him?"

Sheriff Stilinski shook his head. "No, you know what? They're not dropping the charges. But that doesn't prove anything."

"H-" Stiles noticed something. "Oh."

Nora looked at him. 'I believe it. You have to trust them.'

Scott nodded. "It's really hard to explain how we know this, but like Nora said, you just gotta trust us. We know it's Matt."

The sheriff looked between the boys. "If you two are so certain, I'm inclined to believe it."

"Yeah," Stiles agreed. "Thank you. He took Harris' car, okay? Look, he knew that if a cop found tire track at one of the murders, and that if enough of the victims were in Harris' class, that they'd arrest him."

The sheriff sighed. "All right, fine. I'll allow the remote possibility, but give me a motive."

"Our swim team sucks. They haven't won in, like, six years. Okay, we don't have a motive yet. I mean, come on, does Harris?"

Sheriff Stilinski looked at them, seemingly defeated. "What do you want me to do?"

"We need you to look at the evidence," Scott replied.

"Yeah, that would be at the station, where I no longer work."

"Trust me, they'll let you in," Stiles said.

"Trust you?"

"Trust -- trust Scott? Or Nora?"

"Scott and Nora I trust."

They arrived at the station and saw Deputy Vargas. "It's two in the morning."

Sheriff Stilinski looked between the group as he said, "Believe me, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't extremely important."

They walked into the sheriff's office and Stiles said, "We look at the hospital stuff first, okay?"

"Why?" Scott asked.

"All the murders were committed by Jackson, except for one. Remember?"

Scott nodded. "The pregnant girl, Jessica."

"Yeah. Since Matt had to kill her himself, somebody from the hospital could've seen him."

"Thank you. Boys. Nora," Sheriff Stilinski said before he continued to look through video footage. "I don't know, guys. I mean, look at this. There was a six car pileup the night the hospital was jammed."

Stiles waved his hand impatiently. "All right, just keep going. Look, he had to have passed one of the cameras on that floor to get Jessica, okay? He's gotta be on the footage somewhere."
