I feel like I might be moving too fast, but I have so much planned for this that I want to add 😭😭

Rui POV

Here goes nothing... After about an hour of procrastination, I got over myself and decided that I'd see Tsukasa again. Since I already planned it, I couldn't turn back, but after the first day at that school, I didn't know what to do.

Walking up to the building made my stomach twist. The sky was dim and gray, it wasn't raining but it wasn't warm. I was scared, and stayed away from people, making my way to a grassy spot just next to the entrance, and waiting for the boy to arrive.

People didn't seem to notice me at all, so I took a seat on the soft grass to hopefully calm my nerves a bit. My fingers habitually fidgeted with each other and would nag at my sleeve cuffs and anything I could feel.

Most students were headed inside, so I was grateful to not be as crowded, especially with these people.

"Hey..." A quiet voice called to me. I turned to my left, where the blond had somehow snuck up on me.

"A-Ah! You can't just do that..!" I crossed my arms and he immediately looked at me with regret.

I could tell that he felt bad. "I'm sorry!" He put his hands up and waved them frantically. "I tried to stay quiet. Um, but... are you sure you can go to class?" He slowly scooted to me, looking me dead in the eyes.

His expression was so understanding, and his smile was radiant, damn near contagious. "Like I said, don't worry about me." I looked away from him and stood up, calmly walking over to a nice tree and resting my back against it. I slid down to the base of the tree and closed my eyes, aware that Tsukasa was following me.

He awkwardly pressed up against my side, our shoulders clashing together. I peeked at him with one eye, and he looked unsure of himself. "What's the issue?" I asked, closing my eye again.

Tsukasa did the same thing I did and fumbled around with a bracelet he wore. He seemed rather nervous for a guy with such a big ego. "We don't know each other. Can we talk a bit? I just want to learn more about you."

"I'm not a very interesting guy. Uh, I perform solo shows, and... build stuff."

The short boy's expression was neutral. "Oh, come on! I know there's more to you!" He giggled and playfully nudged my shoulder.

"Hmm... Maybe." I smiled and looked at him for a second. He intently watched me, excited for what I'd say. "I used to take art classes because I've always been fond of planning for shows. Designing is one of the best parts, so I often plan out outfits and robots..." Before I knew it, my whole mind was occupied by my hobby of show planning.

This caused Tsukasa to light up, and he suddenly seemed a lot happier. "I love performing! If you don't mind, could I see your ideas?" He sat up and cheerfully spoke.

"No, I don't mind. And I never would've guessed that you'd be a theatre kid. However, it makes sense now."

"What makes sense now? Pursuing theatre is not a bad thing!!" He frowned.

"Of course not, Tsukasa. I mean it is like your charisma is too incredible for any common person to obtain."

Suddenly, the blond turned from furious to proud in a snap. "Haha! I knew you'd say something like that. After all, I am a world future star!"

Hmm, how would he react if he knew what I truly meant by that? Fufu...

I enjoyed his company. For a moment, I was happy, satisfied that I chose to see him. The poor boy had been all by himself for God knows how long, and I get to see that he isn't a bad person at all.
