The man lies on the floor, staring at the ceiling. The room was dark except for the light from the tiny bulb that hung from the cracked ceiling. The only sound was the clinking of the moths against the yellow bulb. The man's hooded eyes flickered to the bulb watching intently the dance of the Lepidoptera, each and every one of them navigating towards the glow.

They're gonna die soon,

just like me.

He shut his eyes tightly trying to find the tiny bit of hope inside him. He doesn't remember how long it has been since he was brought here, has it been hours? Or has it been days? He's starving and in a dire need of water. He's tired, exhausted at that. He just wanted to close his eyes for a few minutes after all he has done nothing but stare at the ceiling since he was brought here in this dark cellar. His train of thoughts had slowed down, slowly starting to doze off when soft taps of shoes from the giant metal door startled him that stood right in front of him. As horror filled the man he scrambled back to the wall trying to get up, but his movement was restricted by the metal chains wrapped around his ankles.

The metal door creaked open and there stood a man he knew all too well. He was buff enough to block his view from the nightmare standing right behind him clad in all black except for the red pendant that hung loosely around his neck.

"Tae sook." The man called as he moved to let the devil in, "It's been long, hasn't it?" He grinned at the frightened man who was curled up against the wall. "P-please, I didn't do anything." He whispered through his chapped lips that refused to open any wider. A chuckle left the man who hadn't said a word yet, he shook his head slowly as he came forward and crouched in front of Tae sook. "Didn't do anything, huh." He mocked and grabbed the guy's chin making him let out a yelp, his body shook with fear. "So you didn't meet with the Hans? You didn't provide them with my father's whereabouts? You didn't share our private informations with them?"

Tae sook couldn't think, his blood had run cold, his body was clad with sweat and the rest with fear. His limbs went numb and all he could do was watch, watch his own doom. He knew it's consequences yet he agreed to betray the Yoons. He lifted his eyes to look at the man in front of him. "I- didn't do it..." He whispered.

Lying. He broke the second rule. There were 3 rules you had to follow when you joined the Yoons. If you broke either of them your death is inevitable. But that's not the worst, your family suffers too, they're either killed, made slaves or tortured in front of you. And he had broken all 3 of them...

1. Always obey the Yoons.
2. Never lie to the Yoons.
3. Don't betray the Yoons.

His eyes shut closed at the authority the other's orbs emitted. "Lies. You just keep breaking rules." He tched and jerked his chin away harshly. Tae sook let out a breath, eyes still shut and body sprawled on the floor from the force of the jerk.

"Mingyu, what do you think is gonna happen to his sister?" The man stood up and stuffed his hands in his pockets. Tae sook's eyes shot open and jerked his head towards the man who was already staring at him with a grin plastered on his face. "P-please don't hurt her! Please! I-i beg of you please!" His hands clasped together and his body leaned forward.

"Hmm...no."

"Mingyu, bring his sister to Soonyoung." He looked towards the male standing in the back of the room before moving his attention back to the pleading man. "NO! I'll do anything! Please leave her! I'll do everything you want! Kill me instead just don't hurt her.." Tae sook begged his eyes red and brimmed with tears, some had managed to run down his cheeks leaving stained trails.

"You should've thought about that before betraying us. The Hans almost killed my father." He crouched again to face him. He moved his hand inside his coat searching for something, a smile crept up his face as he found what he was looking for. A dagger. His dagger.
