"Tastes sweet. Was it the chocolate or your lips?"

The mafia leaned back in his seat, thumb still in his mouth as he eyed the brunette. Joshua wanted to get up and make a run for it. He just knew his face was as red as the strawberry on his pastry, eyes wide and mouth agape.

"You should try the pastry." Jeonghan pushed the plate towards him, a teasing grin on his face.

Joshua came back to his senses. He cleared his throat and gazed at the pastry, not wanting to look at the other. Jeonghan leaned forward resting his face on his palm.

"You're awfully quite."

"Shut up."

Jeonghan's mouth tugged up a little and he didn't stop it this time. He looked as Joshua took a spoonful of the pastry. He didn't know why but he cared of his opinion. He wanted him to like the pastry even if he didn't make it. He still wanted to please him.

Joshua's eyes widened at the taste. The pastry tasted like heaven. Maybe he exaggerated but it tasted great. The sweetness melted on his tongue and the little bits of strawberries added with a tiny bit of sour to it. The filling was creamy and sweet. He loved it.

He glanced up to tell the mafia how much he liked the pastry but no words came out. Jeonghan was staring at him with a tiny smile on his lips. His eyes glistened with the fairy lights hung above their table. The yellow light made his eyes glow different with a softness he couldn't decipher. Jeonghan's eyes were enchanting. He could see a fondness in them and that made his heart quicken. His face tinted with a golden glow. He looked like one of those Disney movies he fell asleep to. So magical and beautiful. He looked dreamy with that smile and those eyes.

The mafia raised his eyebrows a little, expecting. Joshua wasn't saying anything and he felt nervous.

Did he not like it?

He grew restless and leaned forward on both his elbows.

"Joshua?"

The brunette snapped out of the trance. He looked back at the pastry realising he had to praise the taste.

"It's so good. I love it!" He didn't look up. Scared.

Jeonghan smiled at that, he could finally breath knowing he didn't dislike his choice. He took a scoop from his own pastry.

They walked next to each other on the sidewalk. They hadn't talked after that. They silently agreed to go on a walk rather than getting in the car.

"You're cute when you blush." Jeonghan glanced at the brunette.

"I never blushed." Joshua scoffed and folded his arms tighter. It was getting colder as night fell deeper.

"Sure." He shrugged, hands grabbed the insides of his pockets. Joshua huffed but didn't say anything else. He tried to ignore the 'cute' part.

"Thanks for the pastry and the hot chocolate." The brunette said as they stopped by a bench. He sat on the right end of it.

"Don't need to thank me. I wanted to do it." The mafia sat on the left end of the bench. A safe distance between both of them.

"So, Mr. Mafia how was your day?" He glanced at Jeonghan.

"It's going great now that I'm with you." He grinned.

Joshua rolled his eyes. "I'm glad I helped. How was it other than that."

"It was alright. I didn't have much to do today. Spent half the day sleeping. What about you?" He looked up at the brunette metting his gaze. His heart thud softly at the attentive look the brunette gave him. He was listening to him. Genuinely asked about his day. He cared.
