James was smirking. He was back in his building. He only just got back.

Suddenly two other men walked in. They were dragging an unconscious Nicholas by his arms. And his head was bleeding badly.

"In here." James said as he opened the door to a freezing cold metal room.

They laid Nicholas down and chained him to a metal bed. Cuffs on his hands and ankles. Being careful as they put a gag back in while also trying not to let Nicholas bite their hands either if he wakes up.

Nicholas groaned as he slowly started waking back up. His eyes widened as he realised what was happening. He started trying to run but that was impossible.

James hit him across the face and Nicholas stopped moving. James finished chaining him by his neck. He grabbed a first aid kit.

"You two men can go now." James said and they both nodded and walked away.

Nicholas whimpered and tried to back away. His cheek was still hurting.

James simply grabbed his chin as he started dabbing a cloth against his head. "Relax. I am not gonna hurt you. I just need to clean your head up." James said with a very fake fatherly smile.

Nicholas made the chains move a little but it was very clear that he wasn't getting out.

"Yeah, you ain't getting out of this one." James smirked.

Nicholas whimpered and a stray tear fell from his eyes.

James simply wiped the tear away, "Don't cry. Get comfortable and enjoy the cold. Your gonna be here a while." James said and locked the door. He left Nikolas alone in a dark cold room.

Ali growled as the police officers were apparently promising they will find his son. He will find Nikolas and he will kill James for putting his son through pain.

"Is there anything you can tell us about James?"

Ali scoffed, "He's a psychopath! He's almost fried Nikolas's brain! What else do you need to know?!" He shouted.

"Sir, I understand this is very hard on you and your wife, I can't even imagine losing my child to a psychopath but we can't find James if we don't know what he looks like either." The same brain haired officer said.

"He has brown hair and brown eyes with a scar on his nose. Nikolas said that." Layla said. She was holding Ali's hand.

"Okay thank you. We'll remain in touch." The officer said and shaked both their hands.

"Ali, calm down. They will find Nikolas." Layla whispered as they both left the station.

"I don't care. I want him back now." Ali said.

"They'll try anything they can." Layla said. "Besides it was my fault Nikolas got taken again. I left him alone."

"Honey, I left him alone twice. Trust me you have got nothing bad on your shoulders. Your pregnant. No one can blame you." Ali said.

"Oh but they can blame you?" Layla said with a roll of her eyes.

"I am the one that walked out for some fresh air." Ali said.

"And I am the one who didn't tell you I was leaving." Layla said.

"But that wasn't your fault." Ali said "We both thought James would leave Nikolas alone."

"And he didn't. So how is that your fault?" Layla said.

"Because- are you trying to use reverse psychology on me?" Ali asked.
