Trial by fire

Chapter 5

Kya hears Max's muffled voice from a few feet away, "Lets give her a little break. I got a few more snacks and magazines to look at. "
Kya rests on the fluffy grass, when all of a sudden Cole wraps the rope around her neck. Kya gets lifted to her feet, and then ABOVE the ground, and she is gasping for air.
Cole: "I wanna kill her... I wanna make her suffer for what she did to me..." Kya grabs the rope, trying to get it off of her neck, but it was no use... ...Kya pulls on the rope that Cole had tied around her neck. It was on too tight! She couldn't breathe, and before she let go of all her air, Max cuts the rope with his switch blade. "What do you think you're doing! I thought we were going to save that for later..."says Max. Max scowls at Cole, who isn't saying a word. Cole just stares at Kya, and at that moment, she realizes that he really wants her dead.
A few hours pass and Kya hasn't gotten any sleep. It's about 4:30 in the morning, on a Saturday. She was still lying on the damp grass when Someone kicks Kya on the back, and she sees that it's Andrew. She stands up, and he places the bag back on her head. Kya was too tired to do anything... He slowly led her to the car, where she blindly got into the back seat.
The car stopped, and Kya heard the door open. Although, she wasn't the one getting out. She heard Andrew say "Tell me all the details later." and the door closed. Kya blindly guessed that the two remaining people in the car were Max and Cole...
