Alyah's POV :

"You good ?" Camrin asked Alyah while walking to their classroom

"Hmm" The girl said rubbing her eyes

Today Alyah woke up really frustrated and disappointed. Disappointed in herself cause of how easily she forgave Kevin yesterday, and frustrated cause once again she didn't impose herself and her wishes.

She had her hood and her AirPods on and she wasn't talking

What really bothered Alyah was that she had to keep everything to herself. All the frustration and the sadness she was accumulating, the lies she was telling, nothing could leave her mouth

Every time she was thinking about her relationship with Kevin around Camrin, she was fighting the urge to tell him everything. Camrin was her other half, her twin. She knew everything about his life even the smallest details and it made her sad that it wasn't the same for him

She wanted to tell him, she really did. But she couldn't risk it, Camrin and Kevin were beefing, and even tho it wasn't his kind to snitch, there were chances that Camrin would tell everything to Arion cause in his mind it was the right thing to do in order to « protect » her

Omniscient POV:

"Do you think things would've been different if you would have told Camrin ?" Doctor Abgrall asked the young lady

Alyah stared at the floor thinking. Do things would have been different if Camrin knew sooner her feelings for Kevin ?

She started to think about everything that happened shortly after when she stopped her story : The dramas, the fights, the sorrows. The tears were burning her eyes

"Yeah definitely" Alyah said looking up for the tears to dry

A lot of things could have been avoided if she had told Camrin before it was too late

Alyah's POV :

Alyah went out of her last period and, with Camrin and Setty, began to walk to the exit. She was exhausted, she had spent the whole day either sleeping or thinking about her life choices, which were mostly bad

She had barely listened to any of her classes and her exams were approaching, which wasn't good for her

The more she was getting closer to the exit, the more she saw the people in front of the school. To her surprise she spotted Ashley, Kevin's girlfriend, in front of the school. Alyah was surprised to see her cause she had already graduated the year before

When Ashley saw Alyah, she headed to her looking all mad, there was a girl with her and she had her phone out

Growing up in the Bronx, Alyah knew how things were going and knew how to handle it. That's why she immediately understood why Ashley and her friend were here for, but honestly she was just too tired for that

"Alyah" Ashley called as she was getting close to her

Alyah stopped and looked at her, Camrin and Setty also stopped with her
