Alyah's POV

"What you're doing right now ?" Kevin asked Alyah through the phone
"Nothing just getting ready" she answered applying moisturizer on her face
Kevin furrowed "For what ?" He asked
"I'm going out" Alyah replied finishing spreading her cream all over her face
"With who ?" Kevin asked again
Alyah sighed "Ugh, why you always have to ask so many questions, who are you, my dad ?" Alyah replied
"No he abandoned your ass remember" Kevin said laughing
Alyah stopped blending her foundation and looked at him through the camera while making an "O" shape with her mouth "He did not abandon me, I still see him every month unlike you with yours" she replied while blending back her foundation
"Mmtch idc I'm your daddy tf" Kevin sassily said making Alyah mug him "Now answer, with who you going out" Kevin added
"With Sarah omg" Alyah said irritated

She was actually going out with Camrin, it had been a minute since they hung out, and she missed him. Yes it was kinda her fault, but she definitely intended to make up for it by making him spend a whole day at her expense

But she couldn't say that to Kevin, there was no chance in the world that he was going to let that happen and that's why she lied. She hated to lie to him, matter of fact, she hated to lie to anyone. She just wished they would stop beefing so that they could all hang out together, but she knew that it was going to stay just a wish

"Mmtch I told you to stop hanging out with her hoe ass" Kevin complained
"She's not more a hoe than you are" Alyah smartly replied "Plus she's dating Setty now" Alyah added blending her cream contour
"I'm not a hoe, fuck are you talkin' about, stop saying shit like that I'll really boom you worda my mother" Kevin aggressively said
"Okay sorry big dog, I forgot you was a gangster my bad" Alyah giggled
"Yeah act like you know better" Kevin replied
Alyah rolled her eyes at him
"Hope they get stuck"

Alyah stayed with him on the phone until she finished her makeup and was about to leave cause Camrin was waiting for her downstairs. They laughed and talked a lot during the rest of the call like they usually do when they're on good terms. Even if Kevin asked her multiple times to cancel her plan and to come stay at his place with him, she didn't fall for it and she finally ended the call before putting her phone and keys in her purse and going out of her apartment

"You want my pickles" Alyah asked Camrin as they were about to eat their burgers
"Mhh" Camrin nodded already starting to eat

Alyah opened her burger, took out the pickles before putting them on Camrin's plate

"So why have you been ghosting me lately?" Camrin asked swallowing the food in his mouth
"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to" Alyah said with guilt
Camrin smiled "It's ok, I'm just fucking witchu, I'm happy you're making new friends" he said
Alyah smiled too "Thank you" she said
"Plus it was kinda sad to think that you was always alone when I wasn't coming to school" Camrin added with a smirk
"Shut up" Alyah playfully hit him "But anyway, how have you been" Alyah asked him
"I'm good, I just can't wait to be over with school, I'm tired as fuck" Camrin replied
"Ugh, me too, school Is kicking my ass rn" Alyah said
"Mrs. Johnson is really a bitch for giving us that much homework's for 3 days" Camrin complained
"Don't talk to me about that old bitch cause I'll really slap her someday. Last day when you didn't come to school, she kicked me out of her class for forgetting my copybook. Like, is she even allowed to do that ?" Alyah said complaining too
"Yeah and last week, I heard she made her whole other class fail cause some of them were on their phone, she's really crazy" Camrin said
