Depressed Sun Wukong (Lmk)

Chapter 3

It has been around 3 weeks since Mk and the group hadn't spoken to Wukong. Mk thought it is time to go back to him and apologize and maybe talk things out.

Mei didn't want Mk to go back to that 'Monster' but Mk couldn't help but feel bad for him.

He wasn't sure how Monkey king has been these past couple of days. Pigsy was the same as Mei.

Mk was walking to flower fruit mountain as he saw no baby monkeys around. Strange, they would normally be out at this time of day looking for something to play with.

Mk finally reached to the water fall and walked into it and still saw no sign of movement or any baby monkeys around.

"M-Monkey King?! Are you in here? Can we.. talk?" Mk yelled out to his mentor, but nothing came out.

Mk waited for a few minutes but nothing still came. 'Maybe he's in his cabin!' Mk said in his thoughts.

He ran to Monkey King's cabin and was going to grab the door nob until he saw a note on the door. It said 'On vacation! Will be back!'

Mk sighed in relief that his mentor was ok and that he finally had gotten a vacation even though he had a vacation like- all his life-

Mk went back to Pigsy's noodles and told the group about today and what happened to Monkey King.

The group gave a relief sigh. "Good. At least he isn't there to come up with a THOUSAND of lies." Pigsy said as he was making noodles.

"Well Pigsy.. I think that's a bit too much don't ya think..? I mean sure he has done so much in the past but being like this to him is a bit deep. Maybe we should let him explain" Mk said frowning.

"Look I get what your coming from kid but did you just forget what he had done to us?! To you?? He lied to you, kept things from you and heck even let you out there to rot just to fix his mistakes he did a long time ago!" Pigsy explained.

"I know but-" "Guys look!" Mei cut off Mk and saw Mei pointing at the TV news. "Can it be?! The true and real legendary Monkey King?! A lot of videos across the whole media had spread around the globe of the real Monkey King walking on the streets, of city megalopolis! Can you believe it?!" The woman in the TV said then showing a few videos of Monkey King just walking around but in a sluggish way.

"What the.." Pigsy said. "What is he doing out here without any disguise?" Tang said scratching his head. "I don't know.. but we need to find out! I don't care what he has done but maybe something happened!" Mk said waving his hands in the air.

Mei sighed and smiled at Mk. "Ok! Let's go check it out!" Mei said in determination and both ran out of the restaurant. Pigsy gave a long sigh as the others followed the two.

The group saw a whole crowd in the middle of the road and saw a lot of girls screaming in fangirl. The group pushed through the crowds and was able to see it.

They saw him.

Monkey king.

Monkey King was just there standing in the middle of the crowd doing nothing as the crowd took pictures, took videos and asked Wukong too many questions.

Monkey King wasn't doing anything but just slowly walking with an emotionless face. He looked tired. But his eyes weren't able to make out as his head was slightly looking down.

The group was able to see Macaque in the crowd on his disguise just looking at Wukong. He was waiting for Wukong to do something but nothing came.

Wukong was walking out of the crowds trying to get where he was going as the crowd followed him.

"Macaque!!" Mk yelled out. Macaque was quick to snap his head to Mk and ran to him. "Did you guys see that?" Macaque asked the group. "Yeah! Can it really be him?" Mei said as they watched the crowd go smaller and smaller into the distance.

"It's definitely him, the scent of him can't be mistaken. His clones don't really have a scent." Macaque said. Mk nodded and just went back into Pigsy's noodles. "Ok. That just happened." Pigsy said. "Yeah what was that??" Tang said just eating his noodles.

"I don't know. But maybe we should do something!" Mk said. "Ugh, okay kid. How about after work tomorrow, we all go to flower fruit mountain and check up on him if he's there?" Pigsy said.

Mk's face lit up. "Really?! Yes! That would be great!!" Mk said happily. And that was that. Though Mk had to beg Macaque to come over which was a whole lot of convincing which in the end he ended up agreeing to come.

- At Flower Fruit Mountain -

Wukong got back to flower fruit mountain with bags on his arms. He went shopping for his medication since he hasn't been doing well on his health and diet. He hasn't been eating that much, more like just one meal everyday.

Wukong had bags under his eyes and wasn't walking correctly. He walked slowly looking like an old man walking with a cane.

Wukong opened his door of his Cabin and put all the plastic bags onto the table. He dropped onto his couch and payed there silently.

"They saw me today." Wukong finally spoke up. "Your successor and his goons? What's wrong with that?" Lbd said in confusion. "I didn't think they would ever come across me." Wukong said as he stayed silent.

"Well.. are you feeling better than yesterday?" Lbd asked. "Ehh.. no." Wukong simply said and just laid there.
