Chapter 8

"I'm done Wukong. I'm done." Macaque said. "W-wait.. Macaque-" "You've been so stubborn all week, so you know what? I'm done with you." Macaque growled then walked away.

"Be selfish all you want Wukong." Macaque said then dropped down into his shadow portal. Wukong stood there where Macaque was as his heart began to beat rapidly.

You did it again Wukong. You pushed away the only person you wanted and loved, and now they're gone. All because. Of. You.

Wukong sat on the floor emotionless and just thinking. "Are you alright Sun Wukong?" Lbd asked. Wukong shook his head, Lbd frowned.

She watched Wukong cry to himself silently not wanting Macaque to hear him. It was all his fault. ALL his fault. He did this to himself and now he has to face the consequences.

"I wish I wasn't immortal.." Wukong cried out. Lbd frowned at the poor monkey.

(Sandy)

I was a bit confused when Mr. Monkey King started disappearing once again. Maybe something happened?

I'm deeply worried than the others. Even Mr. Maquack didn't say anything to us, all he said was that he was done with Mr. Monkey King's drama so something must have happened between them when they last saw each other. I gotta check Mr. Monkey King.

(At Flower Fruit Mountain)

I was walking through trees seeing very little monkeys around. I'm assuming they are with Mr. Monkey King. I then came across the water fall where Mk normally enters but showed a barrier.

"Mr. Monkey King? Are you there? It's me Sandy!" I called out. But no answer. "Monkey king?" I said in a quieter tone.

I then looked around to see the baby monkeys all running at some direction. I followed them seeing where they led to until it led to some beach side, and there was Monkey King. He had a robe on and his hair was messy with some twigs in it and he looked like he had been crying for hours.

"Mr. Monkey King?" I said once more, then Monkey King made a small little gasping noise seeing it was just me. "O-oh.. hey blue guy!.." Monkey King waved. His smile was weakly.

"Are you okay? Where have you been? Are you feeling down?" I asked. Monkey king then raised two of his hands out. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa there big guy! I'm fine really!" Monkey king lied. I didn't believe it. "Mr. Monkey King, please. You can trust me remember?" I said in a soft tone.

Monkey king just looked at me and sighed tiredly. "I-I'm sorry I disappeared like that... I was so.. I got into a fight with Macaque an-and... I ruined it again. We were doing so good until he said he was done with me. I wasn't telling him about how I felt which made him leave. I'm sorry.. I ruined everything again.." Monkey king said as he hugged his knees to his chest.

I can tell he was very tired of what he's doing. "Cheer up Mr. Monkey King! I'm sure you two will make it work out again, you've guys done it before like twice, right?" I questioned. "I-" "Your immortal and Macaque is immortal. You two have ALL the time in the world to make up and make things right. So don't let whatever happened in the past get you down. Because it's not going to get you anywhere if you let it happen." I said as I rubbed Mr. Monkey King on the back.

Monkey king smiled and wiped away his tears. "Okay.. I'll try.. but I want to do it when I feel it's the right time.. thanks again Sandy. You really are a life saver.." Monkey king said as he stared off into the sunset, and I joined him.

Monkey King was able to dress himself like a human, all he needed to do was hide his tail and his ears. Sandy came and help him have a cute little hair style which made Wukong's hair down. Sandy put some gel on Wukong's hair so it could stay the way it is and all they needed to do was the clothes.

"How about this?" Sandy asked as he showed Monkey King a cute little outfit. It was a long jacket that was the color of dark orange, with some bright blue stripes at the ends of the sleeves and a light blue jeans with a little peach key chain sew on the pockets.

"Looks great!" Monkey king said and smiled happily. Monkey King took the clothes and went to the bathroom and changed. Sandy waited patiently. Today they were supposed to go hang out together at the new tea shop that just opened up at the city, so they wanted to go together and maybe check it out.

"Done!" Monkey King yelled out as he walked out of the bathroom and showing off his clothes to Sandy. Sandy clapped his hands in amazement. "Wow Mr. Monkey King! You look amazing!" Sandy said as he smiled.

"R-really..? Thanks!" Monkey king thanked the blue man for the clothes and left off to visit this new tea cafe.

They walked through the side walk almost close to the cafe and saw people outside drinking and talking with their friends or an elder.

Sandy and Monkey king went inside the shop only to be greeted with.. Mei?!

"Mei? What are you doing here?" Sandy asked. Monkey king stayed behind Sandy. "Hey Sandy! I'm just here to work, Mk needed some extra help in paying his bills and my parents didn't really want me to give him our money so I have to make my own." Mei said casually. "Ah well, do you guys have specials here?" Sandy asked.

Mei nodded and returned a smile to Sandy as she wrote down an order at a small piece of paper and gave it for her co-workers to work on the order.

Sandy and Monkey king took a seat at a corner where they could see some kids outside playing.

A customer then came in, as Wukong glanced to see the customer that just walked in because everyone does that and his eyes widened.

It was Macaque.

Wukong immediately hid himself by hiding under Sandy's arm. "Mr. Monkey King? Are you okay?" Sandy asked in concern as he had noticed Wukong was shaking just a little. "M-Macaque.." Wukong mumbled.

Just by that, Macaque instantly turned to look at Sandy sitting in the corner. Sandy noticed Macaque staring at him then he walked over to him. "Ah! Hello Mr. Maquack! What brings you here?" Sandy smiled while trying him best to hide Wukong.

"Ah, just checkin out and maybe testing some of the drinks here." Macaque explained as he sat next to Sandy. Wukong hid more into Sandy trying not to be seen.

"A-ah same goes for me! So uh.. how have you been?" Sandy asked nervously. "Fine. Hey you ok blue guy?" Macaque asked as he rose a brow. Sandy nodded and smiled.

Macaque tilts to the left a little and sees something moving behind Sandy. He then sees an orange tail when it instantly hit Macaque by the smell. It was Wukong's smell, which made Macaque tilt his head back to its place.

"So, you're here with Wukong huh?" Macaque bluntly said which made Sandy and Wukong flinch. Monkey King poked his head out of Sandy's arm with a little frown.

Wukong's ears drooped down and looked away from Macaque. Macaque noticed and sighed. A waitress then came in with Sandy, Wukong and Macaque's drink. "Thanks." Macaque waved the woman as the woman bowed and went back to service other people.

Wukong nervously sipped the tea while looking away from Macaque thinking he is still mad which he still kinda is. Macaque and Sandy took a sip as well and had an awkward silence.

"So.. you guys looking forward into hanging out?" Sandy said out of the blue which made Macaque stopped his hand from sipping his drink. He then put the cup down and looked at Sandy. "Hm. I don't know, we gotta.. 'talk' things out first." Macaque said sternly.

Wukong frowned sadly knowing it might turn into an argument if they get the chance to talk.
