Erm... So... Basically (One Direction Fan Fic)

Chapter 4

After our pre-jam session and meeting, the boys each kind of had to do their own thing, Liam and Zayn had to check in at the studio for something, Louis “Was in dire need to examine the pool facilities” and took Lyla with him (I don’t know if I’m ready for this witty duo yet…) and I was left with Harry and Niall.

    “So this is my chance to observe Narry, I see.” I bickered. They both rolled their eyes, but not in a annoyed way.

“Why don’t we go get the stuff ready for tonight?” suggested Niall.

“Okay!” I said shooting up out of my seat.

After we exited the hotel we headed over to the car, I was beyond curious to where we were headed… I didn’t actually know where the bonfire was going to be. I sat in the backseat letting the boys take the front but right as Niall was about to get into the passengers seat, he got out and went to sit in the back with me.

“It’s okay if you want to sit in the front, I really don’t mind being back here!” I said trying to convice him but he just shhhhhh’d me and sat on down, I shook my head and laughed, this kid was so persistent. Harry shuffled into the front seat and looked back at Niall then me, “Uhm… okay?” he added. He appeared a little angry, or confused, both? Frankly I still couldn’t believe I was here right now with all of them, I was just taking it all in.

On the drive to the mysterious destination, we listened to “Wide Awake” by katy perry, “Just Lose it” by Eminem (Niall and I danced marvelously to that, I have to add) and then “I want you back” by Cher Lloyd came on. I freaked out since that was one of my favorite songs to sing to, so I sang along with full emotion and right in the middle of the chorus Harry  said “You know you kind of remind me of her, you look like her a bit, and you got her spunk.”

This was just an almighty compliment, Cher is stunning. She’s also one of the few people in the world that truly has swagger. “Thanks Styles!” I belted out, it was borderline obnoxious for a second but the two laughed anyways.

We pulled into a really nice driveway with a medium sized cabin and an exceedingly large back yard. The first thing I noticed was the firepit, surrounded by comfy looking lawn chairs, and a garden. The garden had the most magnificent flowers I had ever seen, there must have been over 50 types! It had a walkway that led up into a little sitting area with a few other paths. I wanted more than anything to go over there and check it out. So I turned to Harry and Niall and patted their cheeks like they were little puppy dogs and informed them “Okay so I’m going over there.” And ran off. I’m pretty sure they still didn’t know what to think of me, and I was fine with that for now. As soon as I got over to the garden I walked very, very slow, so I could fully take it in. I led myself around the various twists and turns lightly touching the flower petals as I passed by.

It smelled like love (if love had a smell).

I finally found the dead center of the garden, and before it had been covered by huge trees, but this one little section… was completely open to the sky. It was beautiful.

“It’s nice, huh?” Niall said, he scared me at first and I jumped a little.

“Yeah… It’s lovely.” I told him. He looked around, nodded his head and walked closer to me.

“This is a friend of Liam’s place.” He started, “He’s out of town for a few weeks and told us we could come down whenever we wanted. I come down a lot when we have some down time. It’s nice to kind of just unwind and not do anything. I think a lot though, when that happens, I try my best to not get into my head. But I can't help it sometimes.” he confessed. I knew exactly what he was talking about, been there. I smiled up at him trying to give him a reassuring look. He looked up where we were standing to see the opening in the trees. The sun shined on him just like magic, his hair and eyes sparkled and he looked like such a prince, or an angel. After looking for a minute, he looked back at me and said “I like this spot… yeah… I do!” Okay Niall. Okay. Ahhh such a cutie.
