When I woke up the Friday morning, I looked to see no one was with me in the hotel room. Lyla and I had this commercial audition last night, which is why we were staying this long. It was more for fun and I doubt we got the job, but hey, it all happened for a reason. I sat up and put my long, brown, wavy hair in a ponytail and took a look at the clock. “11:30” it said. Well that explains it… Lyla had plans with Louis at 11 to go shopping, and my mother had some appointments to go to at 9. I then moaned and plopped back onto the bed looking at the ceiling. Our hotel room wasn’t very large, it was just one normal, long room with 2 queen beds, a nice sized television, and other common amenities. It wasn’t anything like the boys room.
I couldn’t stop thinking about them. About them, and everything that happened at the beginning of the week. It felt like a dream…
Finally I leaped out of bed and got dressed, I put on a salmon colored dress that cut off a few inches before hitting my knees. I ripped out my hair tie and threw it on the bed and twirled to the bathroom where I plugged in my curling iron, and started curling the ends of my hair. I was meeting Niall at the movies around 7 and we were going to go see the Avengers. I’d seen it already, but I didn’t mind, I just really was looking forward to hanging out with Niall. I had been looking forward to this all week. And he texted me saying he was at well.
which did indeed make me fangirl a bit.
When my hair was done and my make-up was applied, I grabbed my purse and headed out the door. I headed down to the lobby and planned on wandering around nearby to see if I’d see a resturant where I could go eat breakfast or something. I walked outside and the wind blew my hair to the breeze, I took a deep breath and it smelled amazing. We weren’t too far from Venice beach and I could smell the fresh ocean air. I then proceeded walking down the street. I was quietly singing “Boston” by Augustana. Finally I saw this cute little diner and decided this would be good for breakfast.
When I got in, I was about to tell the nice seater lady that I was by myself, but then I happened to see a familiar green beanie upon a curly haired boy, sitting all alone.
“I’m with him.” I told the woman as I pointed to Harry. She didn’t question it and let me go.
He was looking at his phone and I swiftly seated myself across from him. At first he was a little startled because he didn’t see who I was, he probably thought I was a crazy fan trying to take him away or something.
“Oh hey Marilyn!” he said.
“Hi Harry. I made a decision to join you for breakfast.” I replied.
“So you followed me here?” He joked. I rubbed my eyes and nodded my head no.
“What are you doing at a place like this anyways?” I asked. The diner was fairly small, and the only other people here were an elderly couple, and a couple families with very young kids. This isn’t exactly the place where I pictured Harry Styles would eat breakfast at… or was it lunch yet?
“No one here knows me. I can eat here just like a normal teenager, just ordering breakfast before taking on the world…” He smirked while eyeing me down, he was referring to the fact that that was exactly what I did.
“Ha, okay you have a point there don’t you? Well I’m hungry. I’m ordering.” I said. And that’s what I did.
When the waitress came I ordered some chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs and some hashbrowns, I told her that’s what Harry wanted as well and before he could refuse I made it an obvious point to her that that was indeed what he wanted, and she laughed before walking off. I think she did know who Harry was… she was very pretty, and was probably early 20’s. Harry was eyeing her a little and I made sure to tease him about it.
