Sulu where are you?

"Damn the Excelsior's sensors despite being old as hell are better than the Hiyashi's. '' Vanessa said. "We are in orbit of the Planet. I've also been looking more into shit about the intruder alert. Computer reports a strange energy reading and right now it's settled in one of the crew quarters. I've reinitialized the Containment field " she continued

"More Noncoporial entities? Sulu mentioned in that final log they woke something up?" Tadashi said. "Vanessa pull up his other logs"

"Ok mmm here we go this is the log after they got here"

The group looked up as Sulu appeared on the viewscreen

"Captains Log, the Excelsior, suffered extensive damage. The warp bubble plan my Chief Engineer devised was unsuccessful and the Excelsior was drawn into the Anomaly. According to helm we are currently 65,000 lys from the nearest federation Outpost in the Gamma Quadrant , evidence of tachyons have been found as well suggesting temporal travel but with systems in their current state we don't know much right now"

Vanessa pressing another button "next"

"Captains log. Hikaru Sulu, primary power was restored but is currently at 51% sensors show a Class D planet near our position and signs of dilithium and other resources. I've ordered a course plotted with hope those resources could aid in repairs and we can determine our next move"

"Ok so they were damaged and head to the planet we know this already skip ahead a bit Vanessa" Tadashi said

"Ok lets see ok this one" she said as the viewscreen showed a more ragged Sulu

"Day two. Things were going well the first few away teams found various deposits of dilithium and repairs were on their way. The resources we found allowed my engineer to restore main power to 80% but. Team B found a large chamber on the south northern continent and within appeared to be filled with naturally occurring energy similar to what we found in the anomaly,  further study resulted in the energy field disrupting and contact with that team was lost "

Tadashi took a seat in the Captain's chair

"They went down to the planet?" He asked

The next log went on with the energy reading found by the lost team showing signs of intelligence. The energy grew in strength contact lost with other away teams

Sulu ordered an orbit break but an unknown force kept the Excelsior held in place. Energy readings began appearing on board and security containment fields seemed effective in trapping or limiting the energy

"A few logs seem to be missing, the data seems corrupted… I can't restore it unless xall wants to try " Vanessa said

"I'm willing to try send it to the engineering station" Xall said taking a seat  "hmm most interesting it appears as though someone tried to delete the log I may be able to restore it but it will certainly take me a while"

Tadashi sighed

"So they encountered some sort of energy that became hostile and seemingly sentient? Sulu learned that force fields were capable of holding it. And fought to possibly keep it from taking this ship. Xall do what you can to restore those logs. I kinda wanna know more.  Vanessa send a message to Starfleet or  no have Sato do it I doubt they'll believe a message coming from Excelsior, tell Sato and Felix to come over me and Thrall will join them and we are going down to that planet"

"Ok I know we mocked you about being a coward and everything Tadashi but that's going a bit far. We should sit here and wait till Starfleet gets here. They're much better equipped to explore that planet and find the crew or we could assume a higher orbit and use the Excelsior's sensors to find something they're much better than the Hayashis" Vanessa said

"I agree with Vanessa we aren't StarFleet. I get you have a connection to this Sulu guy but ain't worth risking our lives. Let's just scan and wait" Thrall said with Call nodding in agreement

"Wow I finally act brave and y'all shut me down. Jeez no winning with you guys fine. Vanessa assume that higher orbit and Xall see if you can locate anything of interest focus on that northern continent " Tadashi ordered

"Aye aye sirr. Higher orbit coming up. Mmm always wanted to pilot an Excelsior class " she added

"Initiating scans and I see evidence of a cavern system mmm no life signs though but I'm getting faint signals that appear starfleet in origin. I got the coordinates" he said

"Ok get Sato to transmit our location sensor scans of the Excelsior and what we found and we"

He was interupted by the lights flickering and consoles going dark

"Tadashi helm just locked out. We are moving away from the planet. I just picked up signs of something I'm not sure what.  We are going to warp" Vanessa said

"Stop it! Xall cut power to the warp core!" Tadashi said

"No use sir it appears engineering systems are unresponsive" 

A flash of the viewscreen showed them engaging warp

"Where are we heading Vanessa?" Tadashi asked "tell Sato to follow us "

"Hayashi is following and we are heading right into Dominion territory. Our course is taking us to a sector not in any Federation charts; it's an area of Dominion space not known to the Federation so I have no idea what's over there"

Tadashi sighed

"Lovely. Thrall grab a rifle let's go we are gonna stop this ship" Tadashi said standing up and holstered his phaser

"Thank God I haven't gotten to shoot anything in over a year and a half" thrall grinned with the two entering a Turbolift

Down below the pair exited into a dark Corridor.

"Well that aint spooky is it? Giving some ole Birmingham vibes"  Thrall said

"That ain't funny " Tadashi said turning on his wrist light

A shadowy figure caught him off guard though and he almost jumped into thralls arms

"Calm down babe damn.. yo whoever that is show yourself before my partner pisses himself" Thrall called out

"Not funny Thrall! Come on Engineering is ahead" he said the two moving forward
