"Sir Julius!" The doors suddenly burst open revealing a messenger, causing the Wizard king and the magic captains to stand, startled.

"The black bulls have returned." He announced, causing Julius to perk up, hopeful that they were successful in retrieving Yve. The messenger moved out the way allowing Yami, Noelle, Asta, and Finral to walk inside, but there was no sight of the woman of the hour herself.

He let out a deflated sigh, his shoulders slumping slightly. He cursed himself for having such high expectations, after all it was quite selfish to request that she return to her duties as a magic knight after all these years. "By the looks of it, it seems you didn't have much luck convincing Yve..." he noted her absence somberly.

Yami lit a cigarette as he took his seat, "Huh? What're you talking about old man she's ri—uhh guys...where'd she go?" He trailed off, noticing she indeed was missing.

"Huh?! She was just with us!" Asta screeched in disbelief.

"Hmph. I'm highly doubt you convinced her to come here to begin with. You must've gotten entangled within one of her illusions, she's made a fool out of you all!" Nozel sniffed indignantly.

Yami scowled, "Listen here barrette-boy, I'm telling you we—"

"My my, it seems I've caused quite a stir," a creamy voice cut in. The doors flew open, revealing said woman. She gave a cocky smile, "You must take me lowly to think I'd resort to such cheap tricks. Heh. Cold bastard!" Yve chuckled.

The silverette looked her up and down before letting out a tsk, "I see you're just as uncouth as usual." He said before quickly averting his eyes, feeling warmth slowly creeping up his face. He quickly shook off the feeling.

"Sorry for keeping you all waiting, I'm afraid I needed a moment to take everything in—it has been a while after all." She spoke, slowly making her way towards the table, each step she took seemed to have emanated power as her suffocating mana filled the room completely.

This caused sweat to run down the temples of the newcomers. Dorothy even woke out of her slumber at the disturbance. 'This mana is ridiculous!' Charlotte thought to herself, watching as the woman settled down into the seat beside Yami, causing her to tense up a bit at how close they were.

Julius seemed to visibly relax and let out a laugh, "Oh Yve! I see your mana is just as impressive as ever, I'd expect nothing less from you!"

A scoff escaped her pink lips, "At a first glance I couldn't tell if I was looking at the mighty Wizard king—just how'd you end up like this, old man?"

"It's a long story..." he sighed, "To everyone who isn't familiar—this is Yve Gorgona, a former student of mine. Yve, Charlotte Roselei—captain of the blue rose, Dorothy Unsworth—captain of the coral peacocks, Kaiser Granvorka—captain of the purple orcas, and Rill Boismortier—captain of the aqua deer." He introduced, gesturing to each of them.

Yve regarded them all with a  respectful smile, "It's a pleasure to meet you all."

"Yve, I trust that Yami has made you aware of the impending war with the Spade Kingdom, correct?" Julius questioned the female mage, who only nodded in response.

"I've called you here because in order to stand a chance against the devils we need as many mages in the arcane stage as possible. I request that you travel to the Heart Kingdom in order to help Asta and his friends train, and gain mastery over his own devil." He explained.

Yve placed a hand underneath her chin, "While I can help train him, I'm limited in my help concerning his devil. That would require him to make a contract deal, and that's something I'm not too knowledgeable about myself. However—" she lowered her voice, "You can trust that I will be able to keep him under control."
