Abby's POV

"Candice wait!" I heard dad say but I was hearing a thousand things right now. Echoing screams of people, cries, and crazy talk filled my ears. My vision was darkened and I could barely see them. Feelings of despair.... Loneliness... And the never ending torture. It hurts so much that my surroundings become secondary.

My vision was blurred but I could clearly see a black shadowy figure. It seeped through the crack of one of the doors and opened its eyes wide like it didn't have eye lids to begin with. It was looking around with black eyes that was a lined with a bright red. It smiled showing it's pure white teeth. The figure made eye contact with me and a shiver went down my spine.

He put one finger in front of his mouth.

"Shhhhh," he said and chuckled. It's like I'm the only one who could see him! My vision was blurred to everything else but him. His right hand became sharp and he stood behind who I thought was Candice.

"Candice behind you!!" I yelled and he glared at me and Candice ignored me. She seemed to be freaking out. The figure stabbed her in the back. I covered my mouth in fear and scooted back.

He made himself an opening through her back. The scary part is... Candice had no reaction to it! It's like this is all in my head! Just like all these voices! He climbed into her and that's when my vision cleared and all the voices stopped. I couldn't take my eyes off of Candice.

"Abby?" Lily said and I looked to my side at her trembling body.

"I-I'm ok now Lily," I tell her to calm her down and try to keep my voice from trembling.

"I'm going after my brother whether you come or not!" Candice yelled at dad and hearing her voice sent a shiver down my spin, "we've been together for a long time and I'm not leaving him alone!"

"You don't know what your up against," dad said keeping his voice calm.

"I don't care!" Candice yelled, "if it was one of your daughters I know you'd go after them without a second thought!" She ran off after that and dad started to chase after her but I grabbed his hand. He looked down at me and I watched Candice's back as she ran. There was no signs of being cut open.

"Let her go dad.." I tell him, "I know it's wrong but I think us splitting up is better then all being together."

"..... Ok," he said full of regret. I took Lily's hand and the three of us continued our long walk. I didn't bother to ask what had happened to Sam. I didn't want to know.

Sam's POV

I woke up in a bright room, almost blinding. With my eyes squinted I looked to my side and met eye to eye with my mother. I screamed my heart out and when I tried to get up I realized I was strapped to the hospital bed.

"No no no!" I partly cried out and turned my head from her. I didn't want to look into those cold dead eyes again. I kept fighting the restraints but they got tighter so I gave up on that and looked around the room more.

"Oh you are smart," amusingly said by a doctor, "I guess that explains why you've been alive for so long," he smiled.

"Your going to kill me," I sounded a lot more calm than I felt. I could feel the sweat that I was creating and my heart racing.

"Sadly I don't get such a interesting patient as you," he sighs and it gave me a bit of relief, "anyway what I wanted to do with you was already done," a creepy cheerful smile crept across his face and my little bit of relief vanished. My restraints loosened and I got up. I rubbed my bruised wrists and looked at him. He shooed me out and I left just like that.

Now I was alone. I had nothing to defend myself with and based on what the doctor said there was something after me. Something a lot worse than him. I could only walk on and that's what I did. I checked every corner before I went down it.

I saw a glimpse of red hair and my heart skipped a beat. I had found Abby and the others! I ran towards them.

"Abby!" I shouted and followed them down that hall. It was Abby at the end of the hall but a part of me told me this wasn't right. I stopped half way to her, "Abby?"

"That's who you want me to be right?" She turned around and she looked like Abby but her eyes were gone, "what do you want to do to me?"

She took her hoodie off and her T-shirt. I started backing up but looked back and there was nothing but pitch black and whispers coming from that direction. I turned back to see the fake Abby standing three feet from me.

"Get away from me," I say in almost a whisper. She smelled rotten and made me want to vomit.

"What's so wrong with me?" She was offended, "I can be her!"

I moved around her quickly and she grabbed my arm with a cold little hand. I look back to see Lily now again with no eyes.

"Please... please don't leave me alone. I don't want to be alone," tears went down her face but I just pushed her into the pitch black. She screamed a scream that could break your ears.

I ran now. I don't know what I'm doing anymore. I then ran straight into someone and we both fell.

"Owww," said a familiar voice that I knew right away was Candice. I hugged her tight.

"Candice!" I'm just happy I'm not alone anymore. I then let her go and held her shoulders, "where are the others?"

"I don't know.... I came after you and left them," she started to cry and I hugged again as she cried onto my chest, "I thought I was going to lose you too,"

"I'm right here Candice," I say as I rub her back and help her up, "we can't stay here Candice."

"I know..." She rubbed her eyes for the last time, "let's go.."
