I'm sorry for the inconsistencies in my updating schedule, but things have been busy this summer and I've lost some motivation; It would mean a lot to me however if you guys took the time out of your day to remember to vote for this chapter and to maybe leave a comment or two, because I love hearing what you guys think.

Thank you to those who have continuously shown me support throughout this book, even if it takes me forever to come up with a new chapter. :) I hope you guys enjoy!

"No way man! And here I thought that you didn't have the balls to do it anymore because you were in love with the lil' twink." Cody gave a light slap on the back of my head, and laughed humorously as we walked to our lunch table. "In love? With him? Nah dude, I would rather date Keagan." But was that statement really true? I mean, the two of them were polar opposites. Gender being one of the main opposing factors.

Cody and I sauntered over to our lunch table somewhere near the front of the cafeteria and fist-bumped some guys from our football team, "Yo, what's good, Brooks? Last time I saw you, I heard a rumor that you turned gay." Dylan punched my shoulder jokingly, with his cheerleader girlfriend still clinging on to his other arm. "Me? Gay? C'mon, you know me better than that."

It was the day after I had slept over at Theo's house, and I felt like I didn't have to be near him as much as I used to – I was supposed to feel free, not like this. It wasn't as if I had 'broken up' with Theo necessarily, but I figured that since I got what I needed, I didn't have to be around him so much anymore. So, why did I want to still be near him – even after I got what I wanted?

There was just something about this kid – he was different from other people I've been around. He wasn't annoying like the guys on my football team, or a try-hard like the girls I knew, and he most certainly wasn't stuck-up. He was shy, kind, apologetic, and introverted. The kind of person who was able to give me the break that I needed from being a popular, entitled, jock.

Why the fuck do I wanna be around him so much – did I actually like him? – No, of course not.. Why would I? I never liked him in the first place, I was just using him to run him and his family outta' town.. Right? So, it won't hurt if I just.. Hung out with him some more to see if I could dig anything else up, yeah?

Yeah. That's probably why I want to be around him some more. To see if I could find more dirt on his parents – totally. So, now that I got that question answered, let's solve my next one of where Theo could be.

I excused myself from my spot at my lunch table and began walking away. I stood away from my group so that I could look around the cafeteria without seeming too suspicious in front of them. To save me some time, I thought about where a nerd like him would be seen in a typical lunch setting—everyone here fits a stereotype anyways.

To anyone else, I fit mine too, but I didn't think so. I was supposed to be a jock, obsessed with picking up chicks like my friends were and caring less about the people who barely had a reputation in our school. Theo changed that kind of life for me, and it seems that I couldn't help but bring myself to him.

He's probably in one of the corner tables. I squinted my eyes, knowing that if I saw even a glimpse of him I'd recognize him immediately. I was right. When my eyes locked onto the boy whose kind I thought I'd never talk to, my gaze softened. He was reading, alone, eating lunch, but I could see something missing in his eyes. He looked less passionate, distracted; I had a feeling something wasn't right, but what do I care?

I told myself to get over it, that I need to change my life back to the way it was before I got to know Theo. I couldn't do that so quickly. A part of me felt like I wanted to leap out of my seat and go talk to him, but my plan kept me chained down. Before I knew it, my daydreaming had come to an end when the bell rang for the passing period. I felt an impact hit my shoulder suddenly.
