CHAPTER 22

Shehnaaz's POV

"You like your boss, don't you?" I asked the bitch, standing in front of me with my wedding lehenga in her hands.

"What?" She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Don't act dumb. I know how desperate you are to get his attention." I scoffed. She rolled her eyes before sitting on a couch.

"I don't like him. I love him. But he is getting married to you. I have known him for 15 years, and I'm sure that he is marrying you not because he loves you or anything. There are some other reasons." She shrugged.

"Or else he won't even glance at a girl like you." She scrunched her nose in disgust, making me want to scratch her face.

"You are in a very big misunderstanding." I answered.

"We love each other, and we are going to get married soon." I lied.

"No worries as it won't last long because I know this is a marriage of convenience. He will come back to me leaving you." She said confidently, fuelling my anger.

"Oh, really? How cute." I laughed. I can't let this bitch, insult me and leave. "He is mine and you are nothing but an employee to him." I smirked.

I never thought I would ever say those words.

"If I was just an employee to him, he wouldn't have fucked me." Came her reply, making me shut up.

He fucked her? How bad is his choice?

"People need to experience bad stuffs, before the good ones." I replied, making her red in anger.

"Now just get lost, I need to get ready for my wedding." I ordered making her scowl, before she left the room.

Great!

Brilliant!

This just gone opposite of what I have thought! Argh!

I was thinking of replacing herself in place of mine as she likes him and also won't deny my offer, so I could escape this. But this bitch had to fuel my ego and anger, which brings the best of me.

Now what?

I moved my gaze towards the door, only to find the same 3 girls, I met the other day who styled me for the buisness party.

"Hey, it's so nice to see you again." One of them smiled while I smiled at them back. "Yeah, same."

"Now let's doll you up, for your big day." Other one spoke, making me nod although I wanted to just sleep.

After 1 and half fucking hours! I am finally ready in my bridal lehenga with all the makeup and heavy jewelries. I am feeling pretty as I looked myself in the mirror. But then my heart got a pang, as I realised I'm literally getting married to the man whom I hate the most.

I don't want this! I feel like crying, I don't like whatever is happening at all. Why is life so unfair?

"Sana, you read- HOLLY SHIT!" I startled, as Emma my friend screamed in horror.

"You look so pretty! I can't- " She approached me while looking at me from top to bottom. "Thanks." I muttered.

"You okay?" She asked concerned.

"Yeah."

She hugged me tightly before saying,
"I know you don't like hugs, but you need one right now." She whispered making me chuckle and hug her back.
