Finally back to narrators point of view!

After a long day of surprising chaotic emotions, classes, and lot of brain work, it was finally time for Hiro to go home. Aunt Cass promised him today would be their "apart together" night. "Apart together" night was a weekley tradition of when they both sat in the living room, doing their own things, and talked to each other about their weeks at the same time. Usually, Hiro was working on an assignment, tightening a screw on a project, or playing around with his microbots. Aunt Cass was usually crocheting, writing a new recipe, or designing new menu templates, or online shopping. This was Hiro and Aunt Class's favorite time of the week, since they both were excellent multitaskers, and enjoyed work and discussion. However, Today had been... a lot... Hiro was deep in thought, looking down at the floor as he walked home from campus. Immediately when Hiro entered the lucky Cat, she knew something was off.

"Hiro? Hi! How was— oh. Is something wrong?" She asked, suddenly fully focused on her nephew, as opposed to her dishwasher.

"Yeah, yeah... fine...." Hiro said instinctively.

"Come here, come here, come here!" She said, very quickly, with a disturbed look on her face.

"What?"

She looked carefully at his face, squinting her eyes in effort.

"Uhhh Aunt Cass? Whaaaat are you doing?"

"Oh! Okay I got it." She said after a moment, and continued to unload the dishwasher.

"Wha?! What do you "know"?!"

"Girl problems..." she muttered under her breath, not taking her eyes off her work.

"WHAT?!" Hiro yelped, blushing, avoiding eye contact.

"Oh nothing, nothing..." Aunt Cass said with a suggestive smirk.

"ANNYWAYYYYYYS! Let me just finish putting these coffee mugs away and then we'll do together apart, okay?" She said, trying to change the subject to avoid awkward questions.

"Y-yeah okay... sure...?" He said, still perplexed, questioning, 1, How she knew, and 2, Why she tried to cover it up!

After her work, they both sat on the rug, Hiro with his tablet, Cass with her crochet needles and a large bundle of yarn.

"So..." she said, stuck with that same suggestive smirk.

"Who is she?"

"WHAT?! Uhhhh... Wh-Who's who??." Hiro yelped and nervously laughed.

"Ooooh! What's her name... I saw her at the Open house... Ugh! It was like..."

Hiro was nervous at first, but he was suddenly calm, confident that she wouldn't guess who he had fallen for.

"Something with a "k"...." (Okay, no problem, there are TONS of girls with k names!) He thought. It was what she said next that made his heart start beating faster.

"Biotech major.... Long brown hair.... Katie? No... Karla? Karmin? Karmi?"

He immediately started sweating and blushing wildly with a panicked expression on his face, unsure of what to say. His eyes obviously were darting across the room, desperately trying to avoid contact with hers.

"AHA! I KNEW IT! Aw, why don't you two go out sometime?"

"Go OUT?! With KARMI?! GOD, I COULD NEVER-! I MEAN- I mean why would I want to?! I DON'T!- I- I... I don't know... H-HOW did you know about this, and- *sigh* h-hypothetically.... If I DID want to ask a uh... special girl on a date... how would I do it? I MEAN HYPOTHETICALLY! THIS....IS FOR AN ASSIGNMENT! YEAH!" Struggled Hiro.

"Ohhhh your Aunt has her ways... And to be clear, in this "Hypothetical" situation, she likes you back, right?" She said, still smirking.

"*sigh* yes..."

" Ha! I've never asked a girl out! I don't know! But I can tell you this.... Most, if not, ALL girls LOVE cats." She said.  Hiro raised an eyebrow at the last part, skeptical. It partly made sense.

"Great... can we- pretend this never happened??" Asked Hiro, desperate for reassurance that this sort of discussion would never happen again.

"What happened?" Asked Aunt Cass jokingly.

"Heh- right. I'm gonna go to bed now, Night Aunt Cass!" Said Hiro, finding comfort in her humor about the situation. He was definitely now at ease with Aunt Cass's knowledge of the situation, but he still needed advice. Only one more place to go... the gang. This should be interesting... luckily, tomorrow is a Saturday, all day to ask.

Sorry this one was a little long, but I hope you enjoyed it!  Thank you so much for reading!
