The sun shined a beautiful ray through the blinds of Hiro's room. 7:30 am. Baymax slowly reinflated and returned to his marshmallowy self.
" Hello. I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion. Hello, Hiro." He said as usual. But Hiro didn't respond, still fast asleep. Baymax slowly waddled towards his bed, and gently put a hand on his side, spooking Hiro awake. They locked eyes.
"AHH! Oh, uh... hey, Baymax. Good morning!" He said.
"Good morning. It is time to get up. *small quiet beep* Aunt Cass is showing... high levels of seritonin, as are you. This will be beneficial to both hers and your overall health."
"Yeah, I guess I am pretty excited to talk to her..." he said, kicking out of bed and walking downstairs. Baymax slowly waddles behind. The first thing they saw when they walked down to the Lucky Cat Cafe was Aunt Cass, with a set place for him, with pancakes and strawberries, along with a glass of milk. There was also... a... bouquet of flowers? This confused Hiro, so much so that he had to ask.
"Morning Hiro! How'd ya sleep?" Aunt Cass said in her usual bubbly tone.
"Morning! Yeah, pretty good. Thanks for breakfast, it looks go- Whatttt the heck?!?!?!" He suddenly yelped. The pancakes were shaped like hearts, and there was even a candle!
"What is uh... what's this all about??"
"Oh nothing..... I'd take those flowers to school if I were you!" She whispered with a suggesting smirk.
"Oh great..." he said as he slumped down in a chair. After an... interesting breakfast, Baymax and Hiro headed out, not before swiping the flowers at the last moment before exiting.
He decided to leave the flowers on Karmi's desk in her lab with a note saying it was from him. He slowly walked through the biotech hall, until he reached her lab. He stopped, and peered inside the window. He saw her looking through a microscope, with her hair done especially nicely. He spaced off staring at her for a bit, before snapping back. He decided to just leave everything next to her door. He dropped everything, knocked, and darted away as fast as his legs would carry him. He managed to hide behind, but still peer at her lab from afar, behind a wall. He saw her poke her head out, and look down at the flowers. She looked shocked, and slowly picked them up, with the same bright smile on her face. Then she saw the note that had fluttered to the ground that said, "From Hiro <3". She gasped, wide eyes and all. She blushed wildly, and quickly grabbed it. She looked around, hoping to see the boy behind this, but to her disappointment, he wasn't there. She still smiled greatly, and closed her door.
Seeing her gorgeous smile brought a thousand butterflies to his stomach, and started a whole new fast-paced beat to his heart. Now that that was over with, he has to head back to his lab.
