They thought it was a miracle that they never lost each other after losing so many important people in their lives.
Of course that they thanked every deity they knew that they are still together and that after today, nothing or no one could separate them even death.

"Hey, Nueng!" Ben calls his friend "What's in your mind? Are you getting cold feet?" he asks since Nuengdiao had been looking outside without moving for a few minutes
"No!" Nuengdiao says glaring at Ben who just raises his hands in signal of peace
"Then what got you so lost in your head?" Ben asks as he sits beside Nuengdiao
"Just remembering some things" Nuengdiao hums
"Like?"
"My first meeting with Palm, how we slowly got closer, how our relationship started and all the troubles we found and conquered as the years passed" Nuengdiao says with a soft smile as he looks at the bracelet he was wearing
"Hmm and today you are finally marrying him" Ben says grinning because he was happy that Nuengdiao had found someone who truly loved him, not like he did because if he had loved Nuengdiao he wouldn't have been a coward that day, and had a whole life beside his future husband waiting for him
"Yes" Nuengdiao says with a big smile on his face
"Since you were remembering some things, what is your favourite memory?" Ben decides to ask since they were still waiting for Chopper to come say that it was time for them to go
Nuengdiao looked once more to the window but this time with a thoughtful expression before he answered Ben.
"It doesn't have a specific date but it happened after I bought that place and we met Phum's boyfriend" Nuengdiao says
"What is so special about it?" Ben asks curious
"It wasn't really that special but it was the first time we seriously talked about what we wanted for our future, both as a couple and different individuals" he explains and Ben hums in understanding because with the life Nuengdiao and Palm had, he can see why having that simple talk could be so meaningful and be his favorite memory
"It sounds like a really sweet memory" Ben says smiling at his friend
Before Nuengdiao could say anything else, the door opens to reveal Chopper.
"Ready to go?" Chopper asks "I think Palm might just think you run away if we don't just go now" he teases and Nuengdiao laughs
"As if he doesn't know that I will never let him go" Nuengdiao says with an amused smiles before looking one last time in the mirror
As Nuengdiao checks himself out one last time, Ben gets up and gives Chopper a quick peck before they leave to meet Thanya since she would be the one walking Nuengdiao up to the altar.
