"I miss you too"
This was how most of their phone calls started.
Not even a full month had passed since Ai had left to continue his studies in another country and Songkhram already missed him more than anything.
It had been strange to continue his day to day knowing that he wouldn't be able to see Ai everyday in person but those phone calls helped a bit.
Songkhram helped Ai's mother, went out with their friends, studied hard and did as many things he could that would distract him from the missing piece of his life but sometimes he just found himself in bed thinking of Ai and wanting the other boy to be there beside him.
It was also hard for Ai, he was happy to be given this opportunity(with both his mother and Songkhram being their biggest encouragers to do it) but it was hard to be in a whole new country and not knowing anyone but most of all to not have Songkhram there with him.
Ai would have never believed that Songkhram would steal his heart one day and be this big piece of his life but god, did he love the other boy and miss him so much.
Both of them couldn't wait for the day they could hug and kiss each other again but for now they were happy to call each other and tell the other how much they missed and loved them.
