When Vee and Mark started dating once more, Vee had them sit and talk seriously about their relationship, what they expected of it, their fears, what they planned for their future and how to try and resolve any issues that might come in the future.
It wasn't a decision he made because of his friends but he had planned to do it after he officially broke things with Ploy but then she suddenly kissed him which shocked him and all that shit happened.
And they really needed that talk because of how their relationship started, while Vee acted the way he did he wasn't really proud of his actions, and both were really thankful for having said talk.
"I will be taking over my father's company once I finish my studies since I already work there during vacations" Mark says as they reach their last topic, what they plan for their future individually "And you?" he asks
"Hmmm, probably work in the garage with my dad" Vee answers without any enthusiasm because while he did enjoy the classes he had, he didn't really want to work in the garage but had no choice in that
"You don't wanna do that?" Mark asks noticing that he wasn't happy about it
"Never did, while I do enjoy it I don't want it to be my future" Vee answers honestly
"Then, what did you always dream to be?" Mark asks curious
"Promise not to laugh?" Vee asks since he planned to answer Mark with the truth
"Sure" Mark says a bit confused
"I always wanted to be like my mom" Vee answers a bit embarrassed "I know boys never dream of being a 'housewife' but she is the strongest person I know and it was her to dealt with everything at home and mostly raised me and my brother" he decides to explain
Vee didn't look at Mark as he answered and waited for his boyfriend's reaction, hoping he wouldn't make fun of him.
"I don't see why you can't be it" Mark finally says after a few minutes of silence and Vee looks at him surprised "You could work some mornings at your father's garage to appease him and my dad but the rest of the time you could be my househusband and even trophy husband whenever I need to go to a party or something like that" he explains and Vee can't see anything he would hate about that plan
"You sure?" Vee asks because he didn't want to do something that would make Mark discomfortable or that he hated
"Yes, I kinda like the idea to be able to arrive home to you waiting for me" Mark says truthfully and Vee grins at that "But to make sure we can have a test trial" he adds
"A test trial?"
"Yes, you can move to my dorm and we can see how we would feel having something similar to that"
"I like that plan but won't your parents disagree with me moving to your dorm?"
"I will tell them that it will be just for a month and that is for us to resolve all the issues we have already talked about"
"Thanks, Mark"
"No need to thank me, as you said at the beginning in a relationship it is needed for the two people to work together not only one or against each other"
"True, when do you plan to tell your parents that so I can bring some of my things here?"
"Next weekend, so you could move on Sunday"
"Hmm, I think I have to work on a project that day but I will probably be able to move everything necessary in the morning"
"Okay, then our plans are decided!"
