An Agreement

Camila spent the rest of her weekend lounging around with Normani at her dorm. It was just like any other weekend: binge-watching TV shows on Netflix while pigging out on junk food.

Camila didn't return to her own dorm until dark. She still didn't feel like dealing with Lauren. The girl felt emotionally exhausted whenever she thought of her roommate. Unfortunately for her, the raven haired girl was awake, lying on her bed and reading a book.

When she entered the room, it was like Lauren didn't even acknowledge she was there. Which Camila was admittedly a little annoyed about. She went into the bathroom to freshen up for bed and change into her pajamas. After that, the brunette crashed on her bed and laid on her side, back facing Lauren's side of the room.

"You had fun?"

Camila turned over to look at her roommate.

"What?" She asked.

Lauren sat up and placed her book in her lap.

"Did you have fun wherever it was that you went? I haven't seen you all weekend."

"Yes, I did." Camila answered quietly, and rolled back into her same position as earlier. "And please, don't pretend to care about me."

Lauren said nothing else, and Camila quickly fell asleep.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Shit!"

Camila dashed around her dorm, trying to get ready for class. She had forgotten to set her alarm last night, and doing so resulted in waking up with less than thirty minutes before her first class started.

As the girl was shoving her legs into a pair of skinny jeans, the pile of blankets on the bed across from hers rustled. Lauren came out of her cocoon of blankets with a loud yawn.

"What are you shrieking about?" She grumbled as she stretched her stiff muscles.

"I'm going to be late!" Camila cried.

Lauren watched the younger brunette disappear into the bathroom. She yawned once more and rubbed her tired eyes before following Camila into the room.

The smaller girl jumped when Lauren's tired reflection walked past her in the mirror. "Lauren? I'm using the bathroom right now."

"I have to pee. It wouldn't kill you if we spent some quality time in the bathroom together." Lauren replied.

Camila was glad the toilet wasn't in her view. She stood in front of the sink, frozen.

"Hey, don't you have a class that you need to be going to?" Lauren's raspy voice shook her out of the trance and she ran out of the bathroom. "You're welcome princess!" Lauren yelled.

Camila threw on her bag and scowled at the nickname before leaving the dorm room and rushing to French.

She thankfully made it right on time, but not without being sent a glare from the teacher. Mr. Callister always liked to start his lectures early. Camila lowered her head and quickly found a seat.

--------------------------------------------------------

Camila returned to her dorm to find Lauren sitting on the windowsill. The younger brunette ignored her as she walked past, and sat on her bed with a sigh. Camila's classes tuckered her out for the day, and she was glad that she didn't have any tomorrow.

"I don't even get a 'hello'? Rude." Lauren spoke.

Camila turned in the girl's direction.

"Hello." She replied.
