"What do you want?" Lauren sighed.

"Now that's not the way to greet your sister." The blonde girl replied. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?"

"No, I'm not. Camila, let's go."

Camila glanced sideways at the blonde, who was giving her an 'I dare you to' look.

"Camz?"

The younger brunette moved her attention to Lauren, who had already made it halfway towards the door.

"Right behind you." Camila quickly stood and speed-walked over to her roommate. As the two were leaving, Camila glanced back at the blonde. She had an amused smile on her face, but her eyes shone something less pleasant.

"Who was that?" Camila asked once they were a safe distance away from the restaurant. Lauren didn't answer, just continued facing forward as she walked. Camila could tell that the older brunette was pondering something, the evidence was written clearly on her face.

"Satan. She's made my life a living hell for years."

"And she's your...sister? You guys look nothing alike."

"Stepsister." The green-eyed girl snapped. Camila's mouth made an 'o' shape and nodded.

They walked in silence till they reached their dorm. But as they inched closer toward the entrance, Lauren abruptly grabbed Camila's wrist and lead her in a different direction.

"Hey, where are you taking me?" The younger brunette asked anxiously.

"Somewhere else." Lauren replied. She guided Camila into a small parking lot and to a black motorcycle. The green-eyed girl released Camila's wrist to take the helmet hanging on the motorbike's handlebars into her hands.

"Here," She tossed the helmet in Camila's direction (who almost didn't catch it). "Put that on."

"Before I do, I'd really like know where we're going."

Lauren sighed as she sat herself on the motorcycle. "You said earlier that you haven't explored the city, am I right?"

"Yeah..."

"Then let's go explore. Well actually, you'd be the one exploring because I've lived most of my life in these parts."

"Explore?"

"Yeah, explore. So what do ya say?" The green-eyed girl took out her keys from a jacket pocket and started the vehicle. The engine roared to life and began purring as Camila made up her mind.

She bit her lip and looked down at the helmet as she fiddled with it in her hands. The girl that Camila was before she met Lauren would've turned down her roommate's offer, but she was already realizing that she wasn't that same girl anymore. Camila didn't know what was changing her exactly, but so far, it wasn't a negative change.

"Camz? I'm waiting."

"Why do you keep calling me that?" Camila asked, brow furrowed.

"I don't know," Lauren shrugged. "it just slips out."

Camila nodded and bit her lip one last time before slipping the helmet onto her head. She lifted the visor in order to see.

"Exploring it is." Lauren smiled and nodded. "Hop on Princess."

Camila situated herself behind the older brunette and wrapped both arms around her waist.

"You ready?" Lauren turned her head enough so Camila could hear her.
