It's a "What if" chapter in which our protagonist returns to earth after spending a happy life on pandora. Enjoy!

The girl woke up and opened her still sleepy eyes. Her vision was blurry and the bright light that hit her face certainly didn't help her see better.
After some time finally her eyes adjusted to the light and she could finally see, but what she found in front of her made her eyebrows frown in confusion: a large room with grey, cold, bare walls on which several cracks were visible; a large number of beds, all identical to each other; and a couple of drafty windows.
She knew this place very well.
How could she not know it?
She had lived there for years and it was the last place she wanted to find herself: the old orphanage where she had lived before expressing that elusive wish that had changed her life forever.
But, in that moment, the real question was:
Why was she there?
That was not her place.
She was a Na'vi and in that moment she should have been on Pandora, with Eywa together with Tsu'tey, her sisters, her parents and the souls of all the other children of the Great Mother..., wasn't she?
So why was she on Earth in the 21th century?
Eywa didn't want her?
Nah, It was impossible, after all "the great mother holds all her children in her heart", so she would never have rejected her..., right?
So why was she there?
Maybe she was just reliving memories of her past life?
She'd heard that just before one died, one "saw one's whole life passing before one's eyes", so perhaps that was why.
Sienna scanned the room looking for a calendar.
She absolutely needed to confirm her hypothesis, she HAD TO.
When she found it she bolted towards it, nearly tripping with haste; but when she got close enough to read the date, her eyes widened and her legs buckled in shock causing her to fall to the ground.
