saved?

Chapter 7

~ Lily's POV ~

I sighed as Mr Collins told us detention was now over, this meant I had to go home now and face the wrath of my 'dad' because he was definitely going to be angry from this morning. I just hoped Izzy was okay considering how she's home alone with him right now.

Gathering my stuff I walked out of the school, avoiding people to the best of my ability and walked home. As I entered the house, for some reason I had a feeling something wasn't right....

"I'm home!" I called out; Not actually expecting a reply. But, to my surprise I heard a sinister laugh coming from my room which sounded like my dad?... This wasn't a good sign. Then I remembered who was alone in the house right now with dad.

ISABELLA !!!

Without even thinking, I ran up the stairs and shoved open my bedroom door to find my 'dad' standing In front of me, grinning creepily. Something definitely isn't right.

Scanning around the room my heart broke into two as I saw a small crippled body lying limp in the corner of the room...Izzy...

That's when my whole world stopped. To see my everything, all I have ever lived for gone. Just gone. No goodbyes. I had no reason to live now, she was all I had left.... She was too young and didn't deserve this. I was just waiting for her too jump up and yell surprise, fooled ya. But no, that wasn't going to happen, its all over now. I would never see her innocent smile or hear that cute giggle again....she was gone, and so was the entire life she had left ahead of her. Her future cruelly ripped away.

"NO!!!!" I screamed falling to my knees and letting out loud hysterical sobs.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!?!?!?!?" I asked my 'dad', disgust lacing my words as I forced myself to face him, looking away from izzy's body.

Grinning evilly at me he just stated normally " I got bored, besides you knew this would happen sooner or later - it was just a matter of time before you or her disobeyed me."

Glaring at him through the tears pouring down my face, I crawled over to Iz and took her hand small ice cold hand in mine whilst shutting her eyelids. She was safe now, resting peacefully with our mother. 

"I love you, my sweet Isabella" I whispered, so softly I wasn't even sure if the words had passed my lips.

However footsteps interrupted my short time grieving and I glanced around to see our 'dad' grinning toothily at me. 

" Now Lily, unless you would like the same fate, i suggest you move your good for nothing self to the corner shop and buy me some more cigarettes."

"No.. "I whispered, again so softly I wasn't sure If he heard me.

" DID YOU JUST SAY NO?!"

Cringing at the loudness of his voice I denied even speaking, as a strange sense of familiarity came to me.

"SO YOU THINK ITS OKAY TO LIE TO ME NOW AS WELL?!" He bellowed out, his face contorted with anger.

I flinched anticipating the beating I was about to receive and winced as that all too familiar hand came crashing down on my face.

Yet feeling the sting of his hand against my cheek snapped something inside of me. Feeling a surge of power inside of me I shoved him off me and grabbed a big book from the floor, whacking him on the head with it.

As he sank down to the ground to unconsciousness, I then heard his last words. " I'm going to get you now..."

Thankfully due to the Adrenalin rush I was still feeling, I had enough courage to make my next decision. I was leaving this hell hole - for good.

I quickly grabbed a bag and stuffed some clothes and other important items along with a photo frame containing a picture of me, Izzy and our mother before the 'incident' inside of it and ran out of the house and down the street.

After about half an hour of running I finally stopped to take a rest.

Sitting down on the curb I let the past hours events run through my head. My sister was gone. I had left home.

Yet for some reason I felt as though I had been through this before.

Wait...

My dream.

* I FINALLY UPDATED !!!! Yeah go me :D

But things are happening now an if anyones forgotten her dream is chapter 1 ;)
