~Lily's POV ~
My dream... But that's just not possible.. That would almost be as if i saw the future.. But...That would be...
Magic.
As the thought crossed my mind a shiver went down my spine, snapping me back into reality.
Magic isn't real, I must sound crazy. Clearly my brain is tired right now and I need to calm down and just sleep on whats happened today. I'll think about everything tomorrow.
I mean what am I thinking - Magic?! There's no such thing.
Now though? I need to find a cheap motel to stay in overnight - just so I can get myself together.
I walked down the street for about 10 minutes until I found a typical run down looking building with a flickering sign saying motel hanging next to a door.
'This will have to do' I decided, pushing open the door and letting out a small sigh.
I ignored the tacky state of the lobby and walked up to the front desk, ringing the small bell for service.
Just then an old man came out and asked me what I wanted, grunting at the end. Somehow I can't imagine myself staying here for very long other than one night.
"um just a room with a single bed for one night please." I answered.
"That will be £10 and it doesn't include breakfast" He practically snarled at me.
yup. Definitely not staying here after tonight.
Taking my bag of my back, I looked through the items I had hastily thrown in during my escape, to look for my purse.
Finding it, I drew out £10 i had earned from my lousy weekend job and threw it at the man.
Grinning unkindly at me he tossed me a room key, and without another word went back to whatever he was doing before.
Tucking the purse back into my bag I grasped my room key and made my way up the creaking stairs. When I reached the second floor I wandered down the corridor looking for room 13.
Yeah I know, an unlucky number but its not like my luck could get much worse and that's all just superstitious nonsense anyway.
Seeing the number 13 pinned loosely on a door I put the key in the lock and opened it. I took the key out and stepped into my temporary accommodation.
Wow.....This room was cosy. (note the sarcasm)
The single bed was pushed up against the wall next to a chest of drawers which was covered in cigarette burns. Moth eaten curtains decorated the window which was bathing in grime and covered in bars giving the room a prison cell feeling.
I squinted in the darkness for the light switch and flicked it on. Not much changed except a buzzing noise could now be heard. Not having the energy to unpack, I put my bag on the drawers and brought out some pj's. I closed the curtains and locked the door, then got changed.
Once I was ready for bed I pulled back the covers and let sleep take me once more.
~Anomynous POV ~
I watched as she made her way into the shabby motel.
No doubt this would be the only night she spent there, it wasn't a very pleasant place to stay.
My hunger for power was growing and I finally found someone who could satisfy it.
After all these years.. its finally happening... and I cant wait.
