I'm so excited that my family is leaving for vacation tomorrow! Preparing has been CRAZY because our house is on the market, some of us have jobs/social lives (haha I don't have a social life - usually - but I did go bowling on Wednesday and I am jobless), taking care of pets, etc. We're going to the Wisconsin Dells for five days, which should be really cool. Throughout that time I probably won't be writing much except for maybe on the 6 hour drives there and back (then again, maybe not at all because I can get carsick). I already posted an update about the lack of writing if you didn't see it.
However, another cool thing I did today was spend about two hours talking to my brother about New World. He didn't really listen or care, but I worked out a bit more firmly how far I want the story to go, some explaining that will need to be done, and some interesting plot twists. So, that means I'll probably be writing more intensely when we get back from vacation on Tuesday (maybe Wednesday, because I'm sure I'll be tired from having to deal with my younger brother for hours on end).
I don't know exactly what my point is by writing this... but I'm actually pretty excited for the future now. Maybe I'm just in a good mood, but hopefully that good mood lasts long enough for me to get some writing done (because when I feel down like I usually do, it's hard to write anything I think it worthwhile or good enough to share).
