Miku stared in disbelief at the man onscreen. Who the hell did this man think he was? Just showing up and demanding things that she herself would like the answer to?

Miku scoffed at him. "I think I could ask you the very same question," she said, although a bit loudly, as her volume control was still a bit off from the terrible sound that creature had– as she assumed– let off. The man frowned, "We have been chasing that ship through this quadrant for the past hour. Please relinquish them and maybe I'll let you off the hook. You do seem to be rather young."

"That ship'?" Miku asked, tilting her head, "Oh, you mean the one that inexplicably got inside our shields?" Picard sighed, "The very same. Now, can you please hand over the fugitives so I can get on with my day? This is very much not the type of mission I'd like to be doing."

Miku was about to say no– just to be petty; he was kind of annoying– when she got another incoming transmission. "Uh, one sec, I'm getting another transmission," she said, reaching over to the button to switch over. "Now, wait one minute, young lady," he started, raising his voice, "You will not-" She switched over.

"Oh, hey," a charming woman greeted her over the comm. "I'm Zosia, and me and my partner Tasav would be eternally grateful if you could grant us asylum." The woman had brown skin and curly red hair, and she was wearing some sort of grey-brown suit clasped at the waist with a silver belt. The man behind her– Tasav, Miku assumed, had bluntly cut dark hair and light brown skin, and he was wearing an outfit similar to Zosia's.

One odd thing about him were his ears, which were pointed, like a fantasy elf's. Perhaps he was whatever Link was, but Miku hadn’t talked with Link about it much. Well, she hadn’t talked much with Link about anything, really.

They both seemed to be in their twenties, and Zosia had a compelling smile. "Well, that dude said you were fugitives…" Miku trailed off hesitantly, "Aren't you dangerous or something?" Zosia chuckled nervously, "Well, haven't we all stolen something precious to a government before?" Tasav shot her an emotionless look that clearly said, ‘This is not going to help our case.’

Miku thought for a moment, "Well, I did steal this ancient city-ship from a certain government. And also a certain other government. Oh, and some other alien people, though I'm not sure if that one really counts as a government." Zosia jumped at the opportunity, "See! We are very much alike! Plus, what we stole wasn't even that important, they're just petty bitches."

Miku nodded, "I do hate petty bitches– when the bitch isn't me."

She thought for a moment. "Ok, fine," Miku caved, "Land on the west pier of the city." Zosia smiled widely, "Thank you so much, humble and gracious lady, you won't regret this." Miku chuckled as the transmission shut off. 'Humble and gracious lady', she could get used to that. Rin stared at the screen in disbelief, "Ok, I wasn't really following for part of that, but did we just let fugitives take asylum in Atlantis?"

Miku shrugged, "Why not?" She turned to Shin, "Hey, can you go intercept them for me and bring them up here?" Shin nodded, exiting the control room. Miku remembered Zeno in the control chair room. "Hey Zeno, you alright?" she asked. Zeno hummed, "Yes, and I've been listening in on our transmissions. Did you really just accept fugitives that that other ship is actively looking for?"

Miku laughed, "Yep. Seemed like a good idea a few seconds ago." Zeno sighed, "I'll just stay here in case you need me. I'm fine on my own."

"That's good," Miku said, "I'll just meet these 'fugitives' in the meantime." They ended their conversation just as Shin escorted the two into the control room. Zosia quickly scanned the room and spotted Miku, rushing up to her. "Hello!" she said, "As I mentioned before, I am Zosia, and this is Tasav. Thank you for graciously granting us asylum."
